Just a short time ago, singer Fergie (real name Stacy Ferguson) announced on Twitter that she and husband Josh Duhamel (ex-Leo du Pres, “All My Children“) are expecting their first child. The multi Grammy Award winner tweeted an instagram photo of herself and Duhamel with the caption “Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! #mylovelybabybump”
The couple were wed in Malibu in January 2009. In May 2011, Fergie told HollyScoop “Not right this second,” when asked if she’d be starting a family shortly after announcing her decision to take a break from the Black Eyed Peas. Duhamel previously told People Magazine, “We’ll go there at some point.”

Congratulations are in order for former “General Hospital” and “General Hospital: Night Shift” actress Kent King and husband Christian Cardona, who welcomed their first child, Griffin King Cardona, on Thursday, December 27, 2012. “He is so sweet and yummy, and I’m so in love!” said King in a posting on Facebook. The newborn baby boy was born at 12:29 PM PT and weighed in at 8lbs 1oz, the actress told Soap Opera Network exclusively.
Last summer, King and Cardona celebrated the premiere of their online fan film “Y: The Last Man Rising,” which was based on the Vertigo comic book series “Y: The Last Man” that produced only 60 issues in the span of nearly five years (September 2002 to March 2008).

Former “Days of our Lives” star Heather Lindell (ex-Jan Spears) and husband Josh Boyd welcomed their first child, Desmond George, who was born on Monday, August 27. Desmond George weighed in at 6 ½ lbs.
Currently residing in Los Angeles, CA, Lindell appeared in the 2010 Tony Award Winning Broadway Musical “La Cage Aux Folles” with Harvey Fierstein and Kelsey Grammar. She can currently be seen in the independent film “That’s What She Said,” which was directed by Carrie Preston (“True Blood“).
Lindell posted the first picture of her baby boy on her Facebook page.

Former “One Life to Live” star Brandon Routh (ex-Seth Anderson) and wife Courtney Ford (“True Blood”) have welcomed their first child, reports People Magazine on their website. Leo James Routh, born Friday, August 10, weighed in at 8lbs. and measured 20 1/2 inches.
“We’re in awe … we can’t take our eyes off him!” the two said in a joint statement to People with Routh adding his wife is a “rockstar.”
The couple will celebrate their five-year wedding anniversary in November.
Since leaving “OLTL” in 2002, Routh became a household name in 2006 when he starred as Clark Kent in “Superman Returns.” Although he is not returning as the man in the blue tights when Warner Bros. Pictures releases “Man of Steel” on June 14, 2013, Routh can next be seen in the new CBS primetime comedy series “Partners.” Based on the lives of creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick as two life-long friends and business partners whose “bromance” is put to the test when one of them becomes engaged, “Partners” stars Michael Urie (“Ugly Betty”) as Louis and David Krumholtz (“Num3ers”) as Joe. Louis is “spontaneous, emotional and prone to exaggeration,” while Joe is an “accomplished architect who leads with his head and not his heart, especially in his love life.” Routh portrays Wyatt, a vegan nurse and Louis’ partner in life. “One Tree Hill‘s” Sophia Bush stars as Ali, Joe’s new fiancé and a “sophisticated jewelry designer.”
“Partners” premieres Monday, September 24 at 8:30 PM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.

Something must be in the air as ABC stars Marcia Cross and Patrick Dempsey have welcomed twins into their respective families.
People magazine is reporting that Marcia Cross, 44, who plays Bree Van De Kamp on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives, gave birth to fraternal twin girls on Tuesday, February 20. The actress and stockbroker husband Tom Mahoney, 49, named the twins Eden and Savannah, the magazine stated.
“Mother and babies are all doing well,” said spokesperson Heidi Slan.
Previously, Cross was ordered to bed rest for the remainder of her pregnancy. “Housewives” was forced to work around her pregnancy order and decided to rap Cross’ storyline earlier than planned.
In other news, Patrick Dempsey, 41, who plays Dr. Derek Shepherd on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” also welcomed twins in to the world during the month of February. Along with wife Jillian, Dempsey said hello for the first time to Darby Galen and Sullivan Patrick. The twins were born on Thursday, February 1. The Dempsey’s also have a four-year-old daughter named Talula.
“I think the thing about Patrick is, obviously he has a tremendous love for his wife and his daughter, but he has a tremendous sense of duty,” said “Anatomy” co-star Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey), when speaking to People magazine.
“He’s really sort of old-fashioned in that way – he’s got a good sense of being a gentleman and taking care of his family, and that’s what makes him a good dad. It’s an admirable quality.”
