( — “The Young and the Restless” Episode Recap – Friday, October 21, 2011.

Tucker and Ashley are still discussing the text message that they received, both confused on the far away location. When Ashley became worried on what Ronan may know or have, Tucker decided to change the topic to that of their wedding renewal. He was curious to know if she had asked Traci to be her maid-of-honor, but Ashley told him that she was going to ask Abby to be in their wedding. Tucker wasn’t sure on her choice, since he knew how much Abby didn’t approve of their relationship.

Abby arrived at Gloworm and stopped over to talk to Jack and Genevieve. She wondered what they were celebrating. Jack shared the news that he had Jabot back. Abby congratulated him, but the festivities were cut short when Gloria popped by, telling Genevieve that she left a message on her phone. She hadn’t been able to go over to the house at all. At that same time, Genevieve received a phone call from someone, telling her that there was an explosion at her house. A worried Genevieve, followed by Jack and Gloria rushed off.

Outside of the home, Cane comforted Lily. He told her that there was a gas leak in the house. Lily asked if he was following her, but he told her that he was there watching the house already. He told her about the hit that Colin put out on his mother. Ronan soon appeared where he revealed to a stunned Lily about Cane working with the authorities to bring Colin down for his multiple crimes. Lily was still trying to wrap her head around the news she was hearing when Chance, along with an EMT, arrived. Lily realized that Cane was not only working with the police, but the FBI and the US Military. Ronan pointed out to Lily that Cane was a hero for what he did and that he couldn’t break protocol to tell her what was going on.

At Crimson Lights, Phyllis received the text from Ronan to meet at the warehouse. Nick showed up, startling her. She asked him about the photograph of Faith being in the newspaper. She wondered why he didn’t turn to her to put the picture in Restless Style. Nick told her that he wasn’t a willing participant in that photograph. When he mentioned that Avery was the one that was responsible for getting the picture in the paper, Phyllis bristled. Nick soon received the text message from Ronan, which he shared with Phyllis. The two deduced that Ronan was trying to get the other to turn against one another with information, since their alibis didn’t match.

At The Athletic Club, Jill told Colin that she wasn’t letting him go, because she knew he was plotting something. Colin tried to talk his way out of it by telling her that the surprise could be for her, but she wasn’t buying it. She cried that she was tired of his lies and how he’s hurt her twice. She wouldn’t put up with it anymore. She called Ronan, telling him that she had Colin in his suite and that once the police arrived, they could do whatever they wanted with him.

After checking on her house, Genevieve, along with Gloria and Jack, arrived at the hospital to check on Genevieve’s maid, Myrna. Gloria told Genevieve that she was surprised that there was a gas leak to begin with, since she had the house inspected. She went on to share that she was stunned that Genevieve was putting the house back on the market. Genevieve told Gloria she never had plans in putting the house on the market. When they saw Cane and Lily, Jack asked if Lily had been released, but she said that she waiting to be looked at. Lily asked Genevieve if there was any word on her maid’s condition, but Genevieve said no. Cane wondered if she had family but his mother pointed out that she didn’t know much about her maid. Jack called Cane a hero for saving Lily from the gas leak. Genevieve and Gloria learned from Cane that the gas leak was set up by Colin. He wanted to eliminate both of them.

Abby went to see Ashley and Tucker. She told Tucker that she was surprised that he gave Jabot back to Uncle Jack. Tucker said he wanted to do right by Ashley and make her happy. Ashley wanted to know if her daughter would be her maid-of-honor when they renewed their wedding vows. Abby w as getting ready to tell her no, but Tucker cut her off. He told her that regardless, Ashley and he were already married. He knew that Abby would never like him, but he wanted to make her mother the happiest woman ever. Abby admitted that while she thought he was a jerk, she was tired of hating on him. She realized that he made Ashley happy and she was glad, because she deserved it. Abby accepted the honor of being her mother’s maid-of-honor. Their discussion soon changed from wedding talk to that of the text message Abby received from Ronan. Tucker told her that Ashley and he received the same message.

Victoria called Victor over to her house to discuss the text message that she received from Ronan. Victor wasn’t worried about it, stating that Ronan didn’t have anything on them. Victoria told him about her missing bracelet; maybe Ronan had that as evidence. The two of them realized that it was time for them to head out to the location. Meanwhile, back at Crimson Lights, Phyllis and Nick agreed to drive separately to the warehouse; while Jack, who was alone at the hospital, debated if he should go at all.

In Colin’s suite, Ronan and Chance arrived to arrest him. Jill was flabbergasted to see her grandson, who told her that he’d explain everything later. Ronan laid out a list of all of Colin’s crimes that were piled against him, pointing out that his recent stunt cost him big time. Colin told both Ronan and Chance that they had nothing on him, plus he had diplomatic immunity. Chance told Colin that all that changed when the person he bribed in order to get that immunity was arrested. Jill told Colin she never wanted to see him anymore. Colin told her that while she talked a tough game, he knew she still loved him. Just then, Genevieve and Gloria walked in to see the cuffs being put on Colin. Gloria stepped up to him, telling him that he didn’t do away with her, because she was a survivor. As for Genevieve, she was more heart-felt, still unable to believe that her ex would want to have her killed. She told him that he would be growing old in prison. Leaving the three women alone, they each mused at how they could have ever trust Colin. Genevieve pointed out that they were lucky, since they survived what he put them through.

Jack was the first to arrive at the warehouse. He called out to Ronan but nobody was there. He soon was met by Ashley, Tucker and Abby, who told Jack they received the same text message. Nick, Phyllis, Victor and Victoria soon arrived, all of them wondering what was going on. Tucker asked if they all received the same text, which they all said yes to. Jack soon realized that Ronan couldn’t have sent them the text message. Phyllis pointed out they were all called by Diane to meet with her at the park, the last time they all received a text message. Victor wanted to know who could have set them up to meet at the warehouse, if it wasn’t Ronan. A projector cut on showing a newspaper article of Diane Jenkin’s murder. Meanwhile, back at the hospital, in a hospital room, a bandaged figure is shown. The person in the hospital bed has a tattoo of a black cat and flowers decorated on her leg.

( — “The Young and the Restless” Episode Recap – Thursday, October 20, 2011.

Jack met with Ashley at Gloworm, upset by the fact that Tucker was stalling on his deal to hand over Jabot to him. Ashley told Jack that Tucker had been busy in the office, as well as stopping by to see Sofia. She reassured her brother that Tucker would honor his agreement. Meanwhile, Tucker received a call from an anonymous buyer, interested in purchasing Jabot. Tucker was more than impressed by the amount of money the person offered to buy Jabot.

After listening to Colin’s phone call, requesting a hit on both Genevieve and Gloria, Ronan informed Cane that he had police in action to go into Genevieve house the minute the hit took place. Soon after, he learned that Colin was with Jill at his hotel suite, while Gloria was taking care of business at the bank. Cane, however, wanted to make sure that Lily was alright and decided to call her.

Jill had a plan of her own. Sauntering out of the bathroom, she started to lay it on Colin with a neck rub. She then suggested they share a bath together. Colin offered to get the bath ready, and while he was inside, Jill called for a delivery man to drop some items off. When he did, Colin soon emerged, curious to know what was happening. Jill caught Colin’s attention when she showed him a pair of leopard patterned handcuffs. Handcuffing him to the bed, she told him that she had no plans of seduction for him, but rather keeping him away from whatever he had been plotting.

Genevieve received a phone call from Lily, asking if they could talk. She told her that she could come over. Right after talking to Genevieve, Lily received a call from Cane, questioning if she and the twins were alright. Lily informed him that since he refused to tell her the truth as to what he was hiding, she was meeting his mother. Cane tried his best to get her not to go, but a determined Lily ignored him. After hanging up with her, Cane was going to head over to see Lily, but Ronan reminded him that she was not to know about their plans regarding Colin.

Jack and Ashley headed over to Tucker’s office to talk about Jabot. When Jack asked Tucker for the exchange of the company, Tucker told him that someone called making him a wonderful offer to purchase the company. Jack grew angry, telling Tucker that they made a deal that once Jabot was away from Katherine, Tucker would give it to him. When Tucker told Jack that no proof could be shown in his promising to return Jabot to Jack, Jack countered, telling him that Ashley was there to witness everything. Ashley told Tucker not to try to put her in the position of choosing between the two of them. Tucker continued to toy with Jack, but soon told Jack that he had already signed the papers to give Jabot back to the Abbott family. Jack was overjoyed and wanted to celebrate with his family.

After Jack left, Tucker and Ashley toasted with a glass of champagne. Ashley expressed her happiness of Tucker giving Jack the company back. Tucker admitted that he was interested in the offer he was made, but knew that he would be doing right by her by honoring his agreement to Jack.

Cane showed up at Lily’s urging her not to go to see his mother. When Lily blasted him for not telling her what was going on, Cane warned Lily that both his parents were dangerous and for her to stay away from them. Tired of his not being honest with her, Lily told Cane to stay away from her and the children.

Jack, on a high from getting Jabot back, headed over to see Genevieve. When he shared the news with her, Genevieve was thrilled for him. He told her that he didn’t think he’d get the company back after Tucker was offered a better deal to get Jabot. She wanted to celebrate with her special brand of champagne but realized that her maid, Myrna wasn’t there to serve it up to them. She suggested that they go to Gloworm to celebrate.

Ronan realized that Jack and Genevieve weren’t at her place, but left to head to Gloworm. Lily, meanwhile, debated if she should listen to Cane’s request in staying at home and away from Genevieve. After she called Jill, leaving a voice message for her, Lily made up her mind to go to the house to see Genevieve.

Tucker and Ashley both received text messages from Ronan, requesting a meeting at a remote warehouse. They both wondered what was going on. Jack, who was still celebrating with Genevieve, received the same text message. Meanwhile, Ronan, who was still on stakeout near Genevieve’s house, noticed that his cell phone was missing.

Lily made her way to Genevieve’s, knocking on the door to see if she was home. She walked inside, calling out to Genevieve, but didn’t get a response. From a distance, Cane was frustrated that Lily went to see his mother, despite his warning. Ronan told Cane that he couldn’t reveal what was going on to Lily, but Cane wasn’t going to put her life in danger. He ran out of the van and into the house, trying to get Lily to leave. Lily refused, determined to talk to Genevieve. Back at the van, Ronan was glad that Chance, who somehow was also on the case, showed up. The two of them rushed away from the van, to the house. Inside the house, Lily noted that she smelled gas. Cane there and then grabbed Lily, making a dash out of the house, just as the house exploded. Looking up, Cane and Lily watched as the house burned up. They both were unaware that someone was already in the house, lying on the floor.

Y&R Recap: Wednesday, October 19, 2011

( — “The Young and the Restless” Episode Recap – Wednesday, October 19, 2011.

After making arrangements to meet one another at Colin’s hotel suite, Jill departed to go visit Delia. The minute she was gone, Colin set his plan in motion. He sent out a text to Genevieve, who replied back that she would meet up with him. He then called the hit man to make arrangements to eliminate Genevieve and Gloria. Meanwhile, Ronan met up with Cane at the park. He informed him about the phone call Colin made, placing the hit out on both women. Cane couldn’t understand why his father wanted to kill Gloria. Ronan told him that he believed that Colin feared that Gloria may know about the books while they were locked in the wine cellar. The detective warned Cane to keep quiet about what he knew; they couldn’t afford to ruin the case they were building against Colin. Cane, however, ignored his warning when he tried to give Jill a vague warning to steer clear of Colin.

Neil told Lily that Malcolm demanded Sofia to give him a divorce, leaving town soon after. Lily couldn’t believe that Malcolm would walk out on everyone the way he did. Neil shared that he planned on having Sofia and Moses move in with him. Lily put together a packaged of baby toys and other items for Moses. Her father was curious to know on her decision regarding keeping Cane away from the twins. She admitted she didn’t know what to do, because she knew that they needed their father in their lives. Neil once again pointed out that Cane couldn’t be trusted.

Tucker and Sofia were in her hospital room discussing Malcolm’s choice to leave her. Tucker advised her to not put the blame on herself; the main thing was for her to be there to care for Moses. They talked about Neil and his decision to be hands on with the baby. While Tucker was happy for Sofia, he expressed how disappointed he was that Devon still wanted nothing to do with him. He told Sofia that Devon’s mother, Harmony was in Genoa City. He discussed their heated conversation the two had with one another, and how back in the day, when he was with her, he mistreated her. Sofia told Tucker that what happened between them was all in the past. She also gave her two cents by saying that she believed that Harmony was plotting to get back into Devon’s life, while trying to get what she could from Tucker financially.

Harmony was thankful to Katherine for letting her stay at the mansion. Katherine excused herself to get the telephone. When she left the room, the doorbell rang, so Harmony went to answer it. She opened the door to find Devon standing there. He was surprised to see his mother there. After ending her telephone conversation, Katherine approached the door and shared the news that she asked Harmony to stay with her. When Devon rebuffed Harmony’s offer to stay in Genoa City to bond with him, she changed her mind and opt to go back home. After Devon left, Katherine questioned why Harmony would throw in the towel and go home when she needed to be there for her son. Harmony said she merely wanted to do what was best; and it might be best to give Devon space.

Gloria learned from Kevin that all of her money from her accounts had been drained. She couldn’t understand how that could be, but Kevin pointed out that Jeffrey may have been the one to take the money. When she called Jeffrey, all she got was his voicemail. Not long after, a bouquet of flowers arrived with a note from Jeffrey. He told her that he couldn’t do their marriage any longer and wouldn’t be coming back home. Gloria also got a message from Genevieve letting her know that she was going to put the house back on the market, and wanted her to be the one to sell it.

Genevieve met up with Colin at Crimson Lights. She was curious as to why he wanted to see her. When he tried to make pleasantries with her, she called him out. She wanted to know why she was there. He wanted to ledgers and the code, but she refused to give it to him. Genevieve relished in having control over him by keeping it from him. Colin spat out a few threats, but Genevieve laughed them off.

After leaving the coffee shop, Genevieve ran into Cane at the park. She was curious about the investigation on Colin but he told her that they were at a dead end. She encouraged Cane not to give up because she was sure they would find something to nail Colin with. Genevieve left to head back home. Ronan soon called Cane telling him that it was a mistake talking to Genevieve.

A confused Jill met up with Lily and talked about the strange behavior Cane was displaying regarding Colin. Lily was upset that Cane could tell Jill about both Colin and Genevieve but not her. During their conversation, Lily learned that Jill was still seeing Colin. She gave her a warning that Colin was still a dangerous man. She told Jill that she was going to head to Genevieve’s to talk to her about what Cane was keeping from her.

Devon talked with Neil at Crimson Lights, where he told about Harmony’s moving in with Katherine. Tucker overheard their conversation and stormed off. He soon was at Katherine’s front door, ringing the doorbell. Harmony went to answer it and saw the look on Tucker’s face. He couldn’t believe that he moved in with his mother, yet turned down the money he had offered for her to leave Genoa City. Tucker believed that she was taking Katherine’s side against him. He accused Katherine of purposely keeping him away from Devon. Katherine arrived to see the two talking. She told Tucker that although she offered Harmony a place to stay, Harmony made the decision to leave Genoa City after all.

Tucker was confused by her decision, but Harmony said she was doing what was best for her son; Devon needed space. She suggested that Tucker do the same thing by giving their son space, but Tucker thought otherwise: he wanted a place in his son’s life. After calling him selfish, Tucker barked that he was happy to see her leave town. After he left, Katherine commended Harmony on how she handled Tucker. She suggested she think it over about leaving.
Angry at Jeffrey taking her money and leaving town, Gloria downed a few drinks. Kevin suggested he go to the bank to see where her money had been transferred to. Picking up her cell phone, Gloria left a message for Genevieve, telling her that she wouldn’t be able to meet with her regarding the house.

Jill met up with Colin back at his hotel suite. Noticing that she was upset, he asked her what was wrong. She told him about the conversation she had with Lily. She wanted him to come clean about anything that he could be hiding from her. Colin assured Jill that he had nothing to hide. Jill told Colin that Lily was going to Genevieve’s for a visit. After leaving the room to take a bath, Colin quickly made a phone call, telling someone that there would be a change of plans. He was unaware that Jill overheard his conversation.

On the Next The Young and the Restless

  • Tucker gives Jack what he’s been waiting for

( — “The Young and the Restless” Episode Recap – Tuesday, October 18, 2011.

Sharon wanted to know why Adam was there to see her. He wanted answers from her about her feelings for him. Adam asked if Sharon had any intentions of coming back to him while she was hiding out in New Mexico. Sharon admitted that she had deep remorse for what she put everyone through. While she admitted that she had loved Adam, his actions showed her who he could truly be; someone cold enough to humiliate her when they were to get married in jail. Sharon pointed out that Sam never replaced him in her heart. When Adam said he thought he could fix things for her, but Sharon rebuffed him, telling Adam that she was through trusting him. She wanted him to stay away from her.

Holding the court order in his hand, Nick was furious that Victor was forcing him to bring Faith to the courthouse. He told his father that when Faith was there the last time Sharon was in court, it became upsetting for her. Although Victor claimed to understand how Nick felt, he told his son that either he bring Faith or he’d go get her himself. Nick found it hard to believe that Victor was looking out for either Faith or Sharon’s best interest.

Alone with Ricky, Avery gave instructions to have a photographer in the court room. She wanted them to take a picture of Sharon and Faith’s ‘reunion’. Sharon entered the court room and told Avery about Adam’s visit. They both believed that he was up to something. When he arrived and entered the court room, Sharon was surprised. The minute Victor spotted Adam he cornered him, asking why he was there. Adam chose to ignore him. Nick, meanwhile, returned back to the court room with Faith. The minute Sharon looked over her shoulder she became overjoyed.

Chloe went to see Kevin in his hospital room. He was getting dressed to check out. She offered to take care of him while he was recuperating from his operation, but Kevin was focused on Delia’s recovery. When Chloe thanked Kevin for being there for Delia, Kevin stressed for her to stop calling him a hero. The two shared a kiss before she left to go see on her daughter.
In his hospital room, Billy dressed in pain. Michael arrived, set to take him back to the trailer. Billy told Michael that he was tired of listening to Victor’s demands, and planned on starting a life with Victoria again. Michael commented that he wouldn’t have such a reunion, since Victoria had divorce papers drawn to be signed. Billy laughed them off, determined to win Victoria back. The lawyer asked Billy if he was sure he wanted to test Victor, especially with what Victor held over his head. Michael said that Victor would used the damaging information to destroy Billy and Victoria.

Victoria and Sam talked at her house. He was surprised that she was having new divorce papers drawn again. She admitted that she didn’t want to divorce Billy, but she needed to move on. She didn’t believe that Billy would return to her, therefore, she needed to stop dreaming that he would.

In the courtroom, Heather questioned a witness who testified that she saw Skye and Sharon exchanging heated words with one another. During the cross examination, however, Avery successfully ripped apart the witness’s testimony, when she admitted that she didn’t hear exactly what was being said between Skye and Sharon. The judge called for a brief recess. Sharon, still overcome with emotions at seeing Faith in court, reached out to touch her. The guard witnessed the loving exchange and barked that there was to be no physical contact. At that moment, upon Avery’s request, the photographer snapped a picture of Sharon and Faith. Nick was furious that the photographer took a picture of the two of them, but Avery told Nick that she requested him to take the picture. Nick didn’t like Avery’s latest stunt, but Avery pointed out that the picture could be the thing that would get the public on Sharon’s side. Meanwhile, in court, Adam continued to compliment Heather on doing a good job in court and asked her to go with him for a drink. Heather was leery but took up his offer.

Michael ran into Victoria, who was at the hospital to see Delia. As the two talked, Billy, ear hustled their conversation. He heard Victoria ask if Michael had the divorce papers drawn up. A heartbroken Billy listened as Victoria told Michael that she was ready to sign the papers. The minute he noticed both Michael and Victoria nowhere near his room, he snuck out to see Kevin. He asked for Kevin’s help in helping him see Delia, but Kevin refused. He thought it was time that Billy came clean about being the actual donor. When Victoria came to Kevin’s room, Billy was forced to hide in the bathroom. Victoria thanked Kevin for saving Delia’s life. Inside of the bathroom, Billy listened to Victoria’s harsh words about him. When she left, Kevin told Billy there was no way he would help him.

Chloe and Gloria were in Delia’s room when Victoria walked in. She told her that Delia was doing very well. Michael popped in as well glad to see the young girl resting well. They all again gave credit solely to Kevin. When they left the room, Billy made an attempt to go into Delia’s room, but Kevin stopped him. Billy asked him to help keep Chloe occupied so he could say good-bye to his daughter.

Once he saw that Chloe was distracted, and Michael nowhere in sight, Billy went into his daughter’s room. After spending a few minutes with Delia, Billy was interrupted by Kevin, who told him that he had to leave. As they were coming out of her room, Michael saw the two of them. He quickly took Billy back to the trailer where they saw Victor. Victor told him that he’d be leaving Genoa City in the next few days. He told Billy that he would make sure to know where Billy would be staying in case Delia needed him again.

Going back home, Victoria found the envelope containing the new set of divorce papers. She took a look at her wedding picture. Unsure of what to do, she stared at the documents. She was drinking tea when Sam and Keely’s arrival startled her, causing her to spill her tea all over the documents.

( — “The Young and the Restless” Episode Recap – Monday, October 17, 2011.

Neil became the proud papa, after it was revealed that he was Moses’ father. Sofia was curious to know if he had heard anything from Malcolm, but Neil told her no. He went on to share his frustrations of Malcolm always leaving when things got rough. Sofia believed that he merely needed time to adjust. Malcolm soon arrived, followed shortly by the nurse holding the birth certificate. She questioned which man would be signing the document. It was then that an upset Malcolm walked out of the hospital room, leaving Neil and Sofia to sign the documents as the parents of Moses.

Malcolm found himself headed to Restless Style to talk to Phyllis. He shared his disappointment at not being the father of Moses, pointing out that he not only lost a relationship with Sofia, but that of Neil and now a developing one with Moses. Phyllis tried to talk him into making things work with Sofia; that all that mattered was that Moses had love. Unfortunately, Malcolm was still not in the best of spirits on what he should do. Before Phyllis could continue her conversation, Avery arrived. Malcolm quickly departed, thanking Phyllis for listening to him.

Avery irked Phyllis when she told her that she was there to look for Nick. The two exchanged words with one another. As Avery was digging through her purse to write Nick a note, a video game fell out. Spotting it, Phyllis started to question her about still playing video games. It soon came out that Nick gave her the game, which peeved Phyllis. Nick arrived and Avery told him that she wanted him to bring Faith with him to the trail. He told her it was not going to happen; but she thought otherwise. The minute she left, Phyllis wanted to know what was going on between Nick and Avery.

At Gloworm, Neil saw Victor and went over to talk to him. He wanted to know if he had seen Malcolm at all, but Victor told him that he hadn’t. Neil shared the news about Sofia having the baby and that he was the father. Victor told Neil that he would be an excellent father to the baby. Neil voiced concerns on how he would deal with matters regarding Malcolm. Victor pointed out that Neil should spend all the time in the world with his son.

After accusing Nick of ‘infidelity by video game sharing’ with Avery, Phyllis headed to Gloworm, where she approached Victor. She wanted to know why he would hire her sister to take on Sharon’s case. Victor told her when he hired Avery, he knew nothing about the two of them being related. She whined that she didn’t know why he was doing this to her. Victor stared at her in disbelief and pointed out that he was doing nothing to her. He soon gave her a warning not to use Restless Style as a way to mess with Sharon’s trial. Phyllis left the table, telling Victor that all she cares about is writing good news stories.

Nick went to see Sharon, before trial started. She wanted to badly to be reunited with her children. When she asked Nick if it were possible to bring Faith with him to the courthouse, Nick disagreed, sharing that it would only do more harm than good. A nervous Sharon admitted that she regretted not taking the plea offer when it came to her. She once again asked Nick to bring Faith, pleading that she needed to see her daughter. Nick told Sharon that at the last hearing, Faith was troubled at not being able to go to her mother and told her how she was having a problem sleeping. He promised that while Faith would not be there with him, he would be there to give his support.

Avery went to the Athletic Club to find Adam in his suite. She once again tried to get him to do the right thing where Sharon was concerned. She pointed out that at one time he had loved Sharon even so much as to try to find proof to clear her name. He scoffed at her pressing him for help, stating that she wasn’t living up to her reputation if she were coming to him for help. Despite Avery’s words, Adam continued to stare at her stone-faced. Once Avery was out of his room, however, Adam seemed to have thought on her words regarding his ex.

Neil returned to the hospital to see Sofia. He shared that he didn’t want to be an absentee father to Moses. Sofia, however, was still holding out for hope that Malcolm would come around and play an active role in the baby’s life, despite who the father was. When Malcolm showed up, he wanted to talk to Sofia alone. Once Neil was gone, Malcolm said that now that he knows who the father is of Moses, he wanted a divorce from Sofia. She pleaded with him to fight for their relationship, but Malcolm wasn’t hearing it. He planned on flying to Guam to get the divorce and move on. Sofia’s pleading turned into anger as she signed the papers and called him out for always running away from his problems. When Neil arrived, wondering what was going on, Sofia icily informed Neil how Malcolm wanted a divorce and he was on the next plane out. Malcolm, in turn, glared at Neil, huffing out without another word. The minute Sofia started to ball her eyes out Neil immediately was there to comfort her.

Adam was asleep on the couch in his suite. He soon had a dream that he was going to
ward a metal door. Pulling it open, he was startled to see Sharon strapped into an electric chair. When she looked up at her, he could see her fear. She soon was zapped with electricity, which startled Adam out of his dream. Adam immediately tried to compose himself with what he just dreamt.

Sharon received a visit from Victor. She wanted so much for the jury to find her innocent; she missed being with Faith and Noah. Victor mentioned Faith being there in court, but Sharon informed him that Nick didn’t want her to be there. The older Newman pointed out that Faith needed to be there and he would see that she was. After Victor departed, the guard returned. Sharon assumed it was time to head to the court house, but the guard was there with another visitor: Adam. Sharon was not pleased to see him, wanting to know what he was doing there.

In the courtroom, Avery once again tried to get Nick to have Faith there when Sharon’s trial began. Nick, however, pointed out that Sharon understood the reasons why he wouldn’t bring her there. A frustrated Avery lashed out, accusing Nick of doing Sharon the same way as Adam was; denying his support. Nick reminded her that Adam was withholding evidence to clear Sharon, he, however, was being a protective father of his daughter. Avery apologized for her cutting remark, but continued to work the matter about Faith. When Victor arrived, he thrust a court order into Nick’s hand. He told his son that he was now in charge in making sure that Faith was there for her mother. Nick was furious at Victor’s bullying tactics; Avery, however, was delighted that she got her way.

Y&R Recap: Friday, October 14, 2011

( — “The Young and the Restless” Episode Recap – Friday, October 14, 2011.

Outside, Katherine spotted Harmony in her car. While looking at the car, she noticed that the person was living out of her car. Harmony, who was putting make-up on, looked up and their eyes connected. It was clear that Katherine didn’t know who she was.

Tucker was with Sofia holding Moses, when the doctor came in. Sofia let her know that Tucker was aware of the paternity test. When she stepped out, Tucker asked Sofia who she wanted the baby to belong to. Meanwhile, Neil, who was with Devon and Lily, asked how his talk with Tucker went. Devon said that he accepted apology, but it didn’t change who he was. Lily, listening to the conversation, was in agreement, clearly thinking on her situation with Cane. Neil told Lily to trust her instincts. When he received a call from the hospital, he shared the news that he was headed there regarding the paternity test.

At Crimson Light, Phyllis sat down with Malcolm. He showed her a picture of Moses. As she looked at it, she asked him if he was still mad at her. He told her that he wasn’t pleased but had other things on his mind. She pressed him to tell her what was going on. After promising not to blab, Phyllis found out that a paternity test was going to be done. She also learned that Neil and Sofia had an affair together. Phyllis talked up Malcolm, telling him that he should be the baby’s father. While he worried that the baby wouldn’t be his, Phyllis continued to give him hope.

Chloe learned that the tests that were one on Delia showed positive signs to do the bone marrow transplant. When the nurse left, Chloe commented on Billy not being there for her. Victoria told her that she was doing fine on her own. Chloe thanked her for being there with her. As for Billy, he was in the trailer with Kevin, grilling him about Victoria. He wanted to know if she mentioned anything about divorcing him. Kevin said not specifically; but she did want to move on. When Billy started to ask Kevin to do him a favor, Kevin said he was already too in deep as it was. Victor arrived, giving them the news that Delia’s bone marrow transplant would take place today. He once again threw his weight around, telling Billy that once she was healthy, he could remove himself from their lives.

While Tucker cheered Sofia up regarding the paternity, Devon and Lily also did the same for Neil. When Devon asked Neil how things would be if Sofia wasn’t with Malcolm, he quickly stopped the topic; pointing out that Sofia was with Malcolm. Lily and Neil were heading out when Katherine showed up, wanting to talk to Devon. Devon was reluctant to let her in but did so. She didn’t want him to miss out on his chances at his dream, but he wanted no part of her. She stressed that she wasn’t using his career opportunity as a way to get even with Tucker. Katherine told Devon that they were family and that she wanted to make things right. When he compared her to Yolanda/Harmony, she said they were nothing alike. He told her that she stopped by also, to apologize. He showed her a picture of her. Katherine realized the woman she saw in her car was Devon’s mother. She vowed to regain Devon’s trust in her.

Tucker saw Harmony applying for a job at Gloworm. He claimed that he wanted to make it up to her. His way of making it up was by writing a check. When he handed it to her, he told her that he wanted her to leave town immediately. Harmony was peeved that he was trying to get her out of town so he can have Devon to himself to make things right. Tucker didn’t deny that he wanted to spend time with Devon. Harmony refused to be bought, telling him that all the money in the world that he had couldn’t compare to the love that she had for her son. She tossed the check back in his face and walked out.

Kevin was at the hospital; so was Billy; both in separate rooms. Dr. Larson expressed her un-easiness regarding the nature of performing the bone marrow transplant. She asked Victor and the assisting doctor to leave the room so she could talk to Billy alone. She asked him if he was there against his will. Billy said he did everything just to get there to save his daughter’s life. Victor, meanwhile, told the assisting doctor to make sure that Billy didn’t leave the room or that anyone came to see him.

Lily once again ran into Cane in the park. He hurriedly ended a phone conversation. Lily soon deduced that Cane was talking to his father. She stressed how he once again is lying to her. She started to rethink her decision of letting Cane spend time with the twins, afraid that once again he’d put them in danger.

Phyllis went to the hospital with Malcolm and saw baby Moses. Sofia shared with Phyllis that she named the baby after her father. When Phyllis left to get coffee, Sofia realized that Malcolm shared the news of the paternity. When Malcolm commented that he knew she wanted Neil to be the father, she told him not to think that way. Malcolm shared his love for the baby. He went over to hold the baby with Sofia. At that moment, Neil walked in, witnessing the scene.

Kevin was dismayed at having to continue playing along with the ruse of having the bone marrow surgery. Chloe came in to check on him. She bought him a thank you gift, which made Kevin feel worse, especially when Victoria wheeled Delia in to see him, handing him a picture she drew of him as a hero. Billy, in the meantime, woke up to Victor’s presence in the hospital room. Billy commented how Victor was protecting Victoria by purposely denying him being with his own child. Victor showed lack of care, though, pointing out that once Delia was better, he wanted Billy out of town for good.

Katherine went back to Harmony’s car to meet with her. She asked if she had a place to stay. Harmony was leery of her, telling her she didn’t need her charity. Katherine revealed that she knew who she was, and wanted to help her. Devon went to Gloworm to get something to eat and bumped into Tucker. Tucker wanted them to have lunch. When Devon spotted the check, he deduced that Tucker tried to buy Harmony off. Tucker said that he was merely showing generosity. Devon laughed at his comment, telling him to take his money and shove it.

A musical montage played as Delia and Kevin smiled at one another. Victoria bumped into Victor, who was still lurking about at the hospital. Cane pleaded with Lily to see the twins, as she walked away. Also at the hospital, Malcolm handed Moses to Neil, who was revealed to be the baby’s father. Meanwhile, Katherine opened up her home to Harmony.

( — “The Young and the Restless” Episode Recap – Thursday, October 13, 2011.

Lily, still puzzled by Cane’s abrupt departure from the apartment, calls him on his cell phone. She wanted to know if he was alright. Meanwhile, Cane shared his disappointment in the police not being able to break his codes. Ronan pointed out that it would be hard to do, but Cane vowed not to give up until he brought his father down. Ronan and Cane continued to talk about digging up Colin’s dirty deeds, but Ronan had to leave. As Cane sat down on a park bench, Lily suddenly arrived, wondering why he was at the park and not at work.

Genevieve and Jack went to Gloworm , where they came across Jill and Colin. Jill told Jack about Genevieve locking Colin in the wine cellar, but before Genevieve could answer him on it, Gloria showed up with a large cake in the image of a safe. Colin assumed that Genevieve was behind it, but she told him someone else must know about his little secrets. Jack didn’t understand what was going and wanted to know about the wine cellar. Genevieve blatantly lied, but Jack focused on what Jill shared. An annoyed Jill blurted out that Colin asked her to go to Australia.

Devon and Neil were at Crimson Lights when a reporter cornered him, wanting to get a scoop on being the son of Tucker McCall. Devon pointedly told the reporter that he had no comment. When the reporter continued to press, Neil stood up and told him to get lost. Devon shared how he wanted the likes of Tucker, Katherine and Harmony to just leave him alone. When Neil questioned on Harmony, Devon told him that it was what Yolanda went by now. Neil couldn’t believe she was back in Genoa City. Meanwhile, Tucker approached Devon’s front door, looking for him. Harmony let him in. He asked where Devon was, but she told him that he was out. Harmony questioned if he knew who she was. He told her he didn’t. She told a stunned Tucker that she was Devon’s mother. She went on to tell about their past together and how after learning she was pregnant, having someone give her money to ‘have it taken care of’.

Neil advised Devon to take things head on, regarding Harmony and Tucker. Devon took his words to heart, but swiftly changed the topic to his joy with his music. The two of them left to head to the hospital. Meanwhile, Tucker wanted to know who gave her money. She told him that his road manager, Ruben, who stated talking to him, gave the money. The two soon started to play the blame game where Devon was concerned. After cooling off a bit, Tucker wanted to know what the two of them should do now.

Cane swiftly told a suspicious Lily that he wasn’t needed at work. They talked about getting together to do something when his cell phone ring.. When he refused to take the call, Lily once again asked Cane what was going on. He told her that the call could wait; he wanted to spend time with her and the twins. She point blank shared that she believed that he was hiding things from her again.

At Gloworm, Ronan showed up, seeing Jill, Colin, Jack and Genevieve together. Gloria quickly went over to tell him what was going on, pointing out that Colin had made plans to leave for Australia with Jill. Back at the table, Colin pointed out that there was nothing wrong with his taking Jill to Australia with him. Genevieve snipped that they should leave and never come back. Jill cut a huge slice of cake for Genevieve and taunted her with it. A frustrated Genevieve demanded a word with Colin. Alone, Genevieve told him that she was the one that held the key to unlocking the codes that the police had. An angry Colin manhandled her, which Jack saw. Ronan saw it too, and after things cooled down, and Jack and Genevieve left, Ronan pointed out that he would be watching Colin.

Tucker told Harmony that he wanted to do whatever he could for his son. Harmony wanted him to leave Devon alone; to let Devon come to him in his own time. Just at that moment, Devon and Neil showed up. Tucker wanted to talk to him but Devon didn’t want to. Neil swiftly escorted Harmony out, giving the two some time to talk. Alone together, he wanted her to explain herself. Neil listed her past deeds after she stated she was there for Devon. Harmony told him that despite her mistakes, she truly cared about Devon and Neil. Back at Devon’s, Tucker tried to apology for his lack of being there. He quickly tried to put the blame of his not knowing about him on Harmony. Devon called him out, asking if he even recognized Harmony. He then asked how come it took Katherine and Paul months to find out who he was, when Tucker couldn’t find him in the 20 some years upon knowing about him.

Colin still wanted an answer from Jill about leaving for Australia. She told him that she wouldn’t go. She pointed out the last time he asked her to go, he wanted to steal the twins. Colin admitted he wanted to go back home for good, but with her.

Genevieve praised Jack for his standing up to Colin to defend her. Jack wanted to know how she ever wound up with Colin. She admitted she was young but now, thanks to Jack, she is a new person again. The two soon started to kiss one another, taking the session over to the couches where they got passionate.

After hearing Tucker’s apology for not being there for him, Devon told him that while he accepted his apology, there was nothing he could do to change things. Tucker wanted a chance, but Devon wanted him gone. Meanwhile, Neil wanted to know the true reason for Harmony being back in Genoa City, besides wanting to be there for Devon. When Harmony left, she bumped into Lily, who was entering. Lily wanted to know why she was there. Neil told Lily that she has a new name and was making a new life. When Lily asked if he believed her, Neil told her no.

Jill had to leave to take care of an emergency at Fenmore’s. When she left, Gloria eyed him, making him aware that she was up to something. Colin wasn’t aware, however, that Ronan set up to wire tap to listen in on all Colin’s conversations. Ronan shared the news with Cane. A call came through and they both listened as Colin stated that Gloria and Genevieve have to be dealt with.

Tucker wanted to continue talking to Devon, but he wanted nothing to do with him. Tucker walked out of Devon’s house, crushed that his son wanted nothing to do with him.
