With “All My Children” completing its first round of filming last Friday and “One Life to Live” set to begin filming next week, soap fans have been anxiously awaiting the much anticipated returns of their beloved Agnes Nixon daytime dramas. After months of speculation, Prospect Park has finally revealed that both series will debut on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes on Monday, April 29 at noon ET, with fans getting their first glimpse of the new Pine Valley and Llanview.
With “All My Children” currently filming its second weeks worth of shows and “One Life to Live” scheduled to begin filming on Monday, March 18, Soap Opera Network has learned new information about the studio NEP Broadcasting had been constructing for both soaps at the Connecticut Film Center (CFC) in Stamford, which previously housed production for the TBS sitcom “Are We There Yet?“

As we previously reported, The Online Network (TOLN) has tapped “The Price is Right” male model Robert Scott Wilson to join the production company’s online revival of “All My Children” as a recast Pete Cortlandt.
The news, which was first broke by “AMC” co-star Jill Larson (Opal Cortlandt), who recently tweeted, “Are you following my ‘son’ “Petey?” @MrRobertScott #AMC.”
Earlier this afternoon, Prospect Park confirmed the casting announcement by issuing an official press release regarding Wilson’s joining the cast of “All My Children.”
As Prospect Park continues casting for the upcoming online rendition of “One Life to Live” under the promise of blending “new themes, fresh stars and youthful energy,” the soap is making some alterations to a previously released casting call for a “charming” new character.
Prospect Park’s much anticipated online revival of long-running soaps “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” continues to inch closer to reality as both shows are scheduled to go into production in the coming weeks ahead of their excepted launch dates on Hulu (and iTunes) sometime in April.
Although her name was among fifteen “One Life” cast members listed in a press release last week from Prospect Park as joining the online version of “OLTL,” Erika Slezak (Viki) confirmed the news today with a statement on her official website. Telling fans that she is “pleased” to join the upcoming online version of the show when production begins “near the middle of March,” the six-time Daytime Emmy winner says the new show will be “an exciting and groundbreaking adventure” and that she hopes fans will tune in.

Described as the love story behind “Doctor Zhivago,” the award-winning play “Lightning from Heaven,” written by “General Hospital” script writer Scott Sickles, will open for a limited engagement at New York City’s WorkShop Theater beginning Thursday, February 14th.
In a short video message on his Facebook page, “One Life’s” new co-head writer Thom Racina vows to fans that he and his fellow scribe Susan Bedsow Horgan will deliver on Prospect Park’s promise to breath “new themes, fresh stars and youthful energy” into the 43-year-old soap, saying “we’re gonna do it!”
