Hot on the heels of the news that “Jersey Shore’s” Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Jessie Malakouti of Jessie and the Toy Boys, and the popular Aussie DJ sisters Nervo were all making stops in TOLN‘s reboot of “One Life to Live,” fans can look for yet another familiar voice to drop by for a visit.
Bethany Watson, co-host of the New York City-based syndicated radio program “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show,” announced earlier this week that she too would be appearing in an upcoming episode of “OLTL.”

With the characters of Matthew Buchanan and Destiny Evans already recast with Robert Gorrie and Laura Harrier, it was only a matter of time before their on-screen love child Drew was recast as well. On Wednesday, Gorrie tweeted a picture of he and his reel-life baby momma holding twin infants Elijah and Isaiah Ford, who are taking over the role on “One Life to Live.”
The babies take over the role from baby Ezra Giovanni-Scott, who played Drew in “OLTL’s” final episodes on ABC.
When “One Life to Live” returns next month, things won’t exactly be going well for at least one longtime Llanview resident. According to “OLTL” Co-Head Writer Thom Racina, technology and tough economic times may have finally caught up with the town’s matriarch Victoria Lord (Erika Slezak) and her family’s newspaper The Banner.

In a new interview with Carolyn Hinsey‘s “Tainted Dreams” blog, Kassie DePavia reveals her excitement on the return of “One Life to Live” and previews fans on what they can expect from the show now that it is being produced by Prospect Park.
“My whole body just shook with happiness. I am so glad to be doing this again. There is a really good energy there. So many of the people that I had grown to love at ‘One Life to Live’ are there, and I had a complete flashback to P&G [Procter & Gamble] with all the people working there that I know from ‘Guiding Light,’” says DePavia, who began her daytime career on “GL” as Chelsea Reardon from 1986-1991 before taking over the role of Blair on “One Life” in 1993.

However, it isn’t only the regular cast and crew that are spilling secrets and posting photos. Several of the show’s dayplayers and extras have also started talking about their recent set-side experiences.

“One Life to Live‘s” longest serving cast member Erika Slezak (Viki) has released a new statement on her official website saying that Prospect Park is “working very hard to get everything right” for the online version of the long-running soap and says that cast and crew are “hoping for our former audience to return and continue to enjoy and for our new audience to get to know us.”
The Llanview teen scene heats up as Australia’s hottest DJs, sisters Mim and Liv Nervo stop by Llanview to spin some records at the fictional town’s trendiest new nightclub and hang out with several of “One Life to Live‘s” younger cast members.

As part of their partnership with Universal Music Group, which allows The OnLine Network (TOLN) to “provide compelling recorded music and songs, and artist cross-promotion and integration, to a powerful new audience,” Prospect Park has cast Jessica “Jessie” Malkouti from Jessie and the Toy Boys in a role on “One Life to Live” as, what else, an aspiring musician.
The news was released earlier this afternoon on the official “OLTL” Twitter page, asking fans to “RT to spread the word!” The singer, who is signed with Prospect Park Records, tweeted Monday that she was “Packing for CT… About to film my television acting debut!!”

When the official “One Life to Live” cast photo shoot was unveiled last month Robin Strasser was one of two contract cast members (Hillary B. Smith being the other) not in attendance at the Sleepy Hollow Country Club with the rest of her c0-stars. However, it was pneumonia and not a snub from her new bosses that kept “One Life’s” grand dame from getting her close-up.
