For the second week in a row, “Days of our Lives” has generated its top Women 18-49 Audience in more than two years!

It was quite exciting news when word leaked that “The Partridge Family” star Shirley Jones was headed to “General Hospital” in February, but it looks like her Port Charles storyline may lead to even more of a thrill!

CBS Daytime is proving that it just won’t stop when it comes to high ratings, with the latest Nielsen live plus same day ratings showing another increase for “The Young and the Restless” and record breaking numbers for “The Talk!”

It looks like former “General Hospital” star Nathan Parsons (ex-Ethan) has some bloody good news to celebrate: He’s been cast in the role of James on HBO’s “True Blood!”

Canadian fans of “The Young and the Restless” actress Sharon Case (Sharon Newman) may have the chance to get up close and personal with the Genoa City star, as she’s heading to Ontario for a star-studded event!

Soap opera fans may best know actress June Squibb from her 2008-2009 stint as Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) diner friend, Pearl, on “The Young and the Restless,” but the rest of the world will see her shine at this year’s Academy Awards for her role in Alexander Payne’s film, “Nebraska.”

Even though she’s on “Days of our Lives,” hosts “The Biggest Loser,” and graces the covers of countless magazines, the world just can’t seem to get enough of Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady). And now fans of the busy mom of two have another venture to look forward to: Her new book, “Scared Scriptless.”

The recent behind-the-scenes drama over at “The Young and the Restless” has created quite a storm, but a little bit of sunshine broke through the clouds today when CBS announced it has renewed the 40-year-old soap opera through 2017. Fans of the show have taken to Twitter to congratulate the cast and crew, and they’re not alone in the celebration: The actors are also thrilled that the sudser they call home received the official extension.

The entertainment world has seen yet another sad loss: Actor Frank Marth (ex-Lt. Phil Parker, “The Young and the Restless”) died on Sunday, January 12 in Rancho Mirage, California, from heart failure and Alzheimer’s disease.

While it seems that the entire world has been abuzz over the recent news that “The Young and the Restless’” Michael Muhney (ex-Adam Newman) was reportedly fired for sexual misconduct, there’s been one person who’s been unusually quite as of late: Muhney himself. And now Radar Online is reporting that there’s a very specific reason why the once vocal star is keeping mum!
