According to TV Line, the hunk will be joining the show as plastic surgeon Scott, a potential love interest for Jes Macallen’s Joss who may have quite the kinky side! “He’s the nicest plastic surgeon in Los Angeles with a teeny tiny fetish… just enough to keep someone like Joss interested,” teases executive producer Rina Mimoun. “He gets Joss to do the one thing she never thought she’d ever do.”

Any fans of “The Young and the Restless” hoping for a miraculous return by Victoria Rowell (Drucilla Winters) would be wise not to hold their breath: The actress just publicly tore the 41-year-old sudser to shreds.
In a Twitter rant that coincided with the CBS series’ anniversary yesterday, Rowell broached the topic of racism in the soap opera industry, paying special attention to the show she called home for the better part of 1990 to 2007. “AfricanAmerican multi-million$ (P&G) audience substantially keeps Young & Restless at #1,” she wrote, followed by: “Young & Restless on for 40 years, loyally watched by their absolute competitive-edge audience (blacks) & not ONE black Exec PRODUCER?”
“The Young and the Restless” officially turns 41 years old today, Wednesday, March 26, and the sudser is celebrating its birthday in style!
Yesterday, the cast and crew gathered for lunch, photos and a cake cutting ceremony to honor the show’s history and celebrate its recent three-year renewal, and today, the on-air show featured a crossover storyline involving “The Price Is Right” and its host, Drew Carey!

Though “Days of our Lives’” Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker) and Kyle Lowder (ex-Brady Black, “DAYS;” ex-Rick Forrester, “The Bold and the Beautiful”) managed to keep recent details regarding their marriage mostly under wraps, the cat is finally out of the bag: The couple is no longer together.
Soap Opera Digest reports that the pair, who met while filming “DAYS” and later tied the knot in 2002, have officially divorced. “In response to our ongoing inquiries, we would like to announce that with respect to our privacy, we quietly separated awhile ago and are officially divorced,” the couple said in a joint statement. “We continue to remain great friends and loving parents to our daughter [Isabella, 4].”
They say you can’t keep a good man down, and apparently, you can’t keep a bad one down, either: Victor Cassadine is reportedly heading back to the “General Hospital” canvas!
Portrayer Thaao Penghlis sent out a tweet to fans announcing that he’ll be returning to the sudser later this month. “I just was asked back on GH on the 31st,” he wrote. “So happy to announce. Oh what disturbances & romance will be taking place. Hullo Spencer.”
A rep for “GH” couldn’t be reached for confirmation or comment on the actor’s return.
There’s been a lot of onscreen talk about the possibility of “The Young and the Restless’” Adam Newman having survived the car crash that presumably killed him, meaning there’s a chance the show will in fact be recasting the character. And according to a recent casting call put out by the sudser, they’re on the hunt for a dashing leading man. But will it be a replacement for Michael Muhney, who departed the role in January?
Former daytime actor Trevor St. John (ex-Victor Lord Jr./Todd Manning, “One Life to Live”) has been popping up on various television shows since his soap gig ended in 2013, and fans of the Washington native have yet another small screen appearance to look forward to: He’ll be appearing in the Sunday, March 30 episode of CBS’ popular drama, “The Mentalist!”
St. John will play John Hennigen in the episode, which follows Jane (Simon Baker) and his colleagues in a dangerous sting operation to catch a deadly team of art thieves. Samantha Smith, Seth McGowan, Pedro Pascal and Charles Mesure (“Desperate Housewives,” “Crossing Jordan”) also guest star.
“The Mentalist” airs Sundays on CBS at 10PM ET/PT.
