While it seems that the entire world has been abuzz over the recent news that “The Young and the Restless’” Michael Muhney (ex-Adam Newman) was reportedly fired for sexual misconduct, there’s been one person who’s been unusually quiet as of late: Muhney himself. And now Radar Online is reporting that there’s a very specific reason why the once vocal star is keeping mum!
According to the publication, which also ran the controversial recent interview with Muhney’s former co-star, Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), the Illinois native has been “muzzled” by CBS and Sony and is not allowed to talk about the sexual allegations launched against him nor Braeden’s interview. “Eric’s comments were off base and his version of the events is very different from Michael’s,” a source close to Muhney told Radar. “It’s very frustrating that Eric made these remarks, because Michael has been ordered by Sony and CBS to not discuss anything about the show or cast.
Robert Adamson may best be known as “The Young and the Restless’” Noah Newman, but what many fans might not know is that the actor is also a talented director. He’s made several short films — and he even met his real life flame, Linsey Godfrey (Caroline Spencer, “The Bold and the Beautiful”), after casting her in one of his recent projects! Soap Opera Network caught up with Adamson, who gave us the scoop on his films, love life, “Y&R” and more!
ABC’s “Modern Family” is about to get a bump up in coolness: “The Talk” panelist and host of the CW’s “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” Aisha Tyler is set to guest star on the popular sitcom later this season!
A rep for the show confirms that the California native will be appearing in the 16th episode of the comedy’s fifth and current season as Wendy, a former law school classmate of Mitchell’s (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) who unexpectedly becomes his boss.
Tyler and Ferguson will be taping their scenes this week for the episode, which is titled “Spring-a-Ding-Fling.”
Meanwhile, fans who just can’t get enough of Tyler can tune in to CBS’s “The Price Is Right” on Wednesday, January 15, as she’ll be appearing as that day’s celebrity guest model.
Ever since the news broke last September that Guy Wilson would be replacing Chandler Massey as “Days of our Lives” beloved character, Will Horton, many fans have been chomping at the bit to see the actor’s take on the important role. Well, the wait is finally over, as Wilson made his debut as Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) son today!
As we previously reported, Massey’s exit off the canvas followed by Wilson’s entrance into Salem was rather quick: Massey was last seen in the role less than a week ago. The show’s actors seemed to take the switch in stride, connecting with the nuWill rather seamlessly. But what about the fans? Were you all able to embrace the new face of Sonny’s (Freddie Smith) lover? Tell us what you thought below!
If you couldn’t get enough of “The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Darin Brooks (Wyatt Fuller) on ABC’s sitcom “Super Fun Night,” then you’re in luck: As we previously reported, the actor is scheduled to appear in tonight’s episode alongside “High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale!
“So I’m back with the lovely @ashleytisdale on an all new @SuperFunNight tonight!” he tweeted of the episode, titled “Dinner Party.” “Who’s gonna come check it out?!? I promise it’ll be fun!”
Dying to get more scoop on the crazy life of “Days of our Lives’” Abigail? You might be in luck: Her portrayer, Kate Mansi, has taken over the show’s Instagram account for the day, and who knows what images from the set she might blast out to the world!
To get in on the action (which we assume is going to be quite entertaining, due to her current controversial storyline), check out “DAYS’” official Instagram page!
“General Hospital’s” real-life couple Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) and Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny Zacchara) officially have a perfect start to their new year: Storms has given birth to their baby girl!
Barash took to Twitter late in the evening of Tuesday, January 7 to announce the exciting arrival of their first child. “Our passenger has touched down and arrived,” he wrote. “Welcome to our world. There has not been a more fulfilling day.”
Congratulations to the proud parents!
There must be something in the water over at “General Hospital,” because not only are Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) and Teresa Castillo (Sabrina Santiago) pregnant, Bradford Anderson (ex-Spinelli) took to Twitter to announce that he and his wife are expecting a baby, as well!
During the BCS National College Football Championship between Florida State and Auburn last night, Anderson commented on the game — and slyly slipped in the news that his wife, Kiera, is pregnant with their second child. “Auburn looks great so far. In other news, we’re having another baby,” he tweeted. “Another girl, in May. So that’s cool. Hope the game isn’t a blowout.”
Congratulations to the parents and their first child, Juna Meredith (2), who’ll now have a little sister to play with!
As we previously reported, season two of “Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots” starring former “One Life to Live” actress Tika Sumpter (ex-Layla Williamson) premieres tonight — and it looks like it’s going to be hot, hot, hot!

Fans of “Days of our Lives’” Will Horton have been waiting for months to hear from the character’s new portrayer, Guy Wilson, and the wait is finally over!
In an exclusive interview with TheWrap, the California native shares his thoughts on taking over the role of one of Salem’s most beloved characters, how he feels about replacing former portrayer, Chandler Massey, and whether or not he’s worried that die hard fans may not accept him in the role.
