In each of the 13 stand-alone episodes, women find extraordinary ways of coping with their problems, channeling their survival instincts and bringing out their inner guile. (SoapOperaNetwork.com) -- As we reported on Friday, May 20, fans of canceled "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" took the news of ABC's upcoming Affiliates Board meeting to heart and called in to their local ABC stations in droves in response to our story demanding that the network change course in its plans for a "Brand New Day" in daytime starting this fall with "The Chew" and "The Revolution." Organizers of the fan inspired campaign to save the two soaps issued a press release to ABC affiliates and news outlets with the prime target being board Chairman Bill Hoffman.Unfortunately TheWrap, as they did in April when NBC launched "The Voice" to stellar numbers last month only to rerun the shows debut episode the following night with much lower ratings to which the publication claimed brought the network its newest bomb, misconstrued Hoffman's comments in their article referencing...

As is the case with most primetime series upon their cancellation notices, there had been hope that another network would pick up one or both daytime programs. In fact there were rumors that NBC was interested in airing the programs with Sony Pictures Television producing. The rumor, which began shortly after Deadline.com reported that the producer of NBC's "Days of our Lives" and CBS' "The Young and the Restless" was interested in snapping up top talent from ABC shortly after the stars received their walking papers on Thursday, April 14, heated up as the weeks went on with no response from Sony Pictures Television. Soap Opera Network reached out to representatives from the production powerhouse and we're sorry to say soap fans, it...

On Tuesday, May 17, the ABC Television Network presented its 2011-2012 primetime schedule in front of advertisers, affiliates and the press. Two months earlier I received intel on a new series called "Once Upon a Time" that the network had in development where fairy tales and the modern-day collide in the town of Storybooke.
A few weeks back I reported on my personal Twitter page that two actors would be let go by summer's end and it wouldn't be by their own choosing despite how it would be presented by the show. The firing of Ingo Rademacher was not one of those people I alluded to. In an official statement released to ABC Soaps In Depth on their website, the actor said "After 15 years on 'GH' portraying Jax I must say goodbye. I'm fired."
