Hot on the heels of Marci Miller opting to leave NBC’s “Days of our Lives” as Abigail Deveraux comes word that Christopher Sean (Paul Narita) is also done with Salem. The actor filmed his last episode on Friday, May 25 — the same day as Miller.

According to published reports, Sean wanted to pursue other projects outside of daytime and the grueling schedule prevented him from doing so. As such, he decided to move on from the soap. No word yet on whether the show plans to recast or if the character will leave the canvas with Sean’s exit, slated for later this fall due to the soap’s advanced taping schedule.

In late April, Disney announced that production had begun on its upcoming Disney XD animated series, “Star Wars Resistance,” with Sean among the voice cast. The series premieres this fall on Disney Channel in the U.S. and, thereafter, on Disney XD and around the world.

“Star Wars Resistance” follows Kazuda Xiono, a young pilot recruited by the Resistance and tasked with a top-secret mission to spy on the growing threat of the First Order.

Sean joined the cast of “Days of our Lives” in 2014.
