Five years since departing CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” actor Peter Porte (ex-Ricky Williams) has made a name for himself with appearances in such shows as “NCIS,” “Living with Models” and more recently starring as Brad on “Baby Daddy.” On Saturday, August 5, the actor will star opposite Amanda Righetti (“Colony,” “The Mentalist”) in the Hallmark Channel original movie, “Love at the Shore.”

“Love at the Shore” follows the story of Jenna Thompson (Righetti), an author and mother of two whose summer plans are derailed when she finds herself sharing space at their summer rental with neighbor Lucas McKinnon (Porte), a stubborn, unconventional, and attractive surfer who roles with the punches and takes on things as they come. Definitely the opposite of Jenna, who’s neat and methodical. As Lucas and Jenna spend more of the summer together, he finds a softer side of himself while dealing with Jenna and her children and Jenna realizes she may have been too quick to judge a book by its cover.

The TV movie airs Saturday, August 5 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel and also features Happy the Dog.
