    These nominations are SHOCKING…………..

    • JayTN

What is truly shocking is the awful manner in which they were announced. The ladies of “The Talk” (and I use that term very loosely) treated it almost as an after thought…including mispronouncing or stumbling over the actors’ names.

Congrats to all the nominees, but what a shame POP could not work out a deal to broadcast it again this year, considering it was a success last year. Wow, these awards have really changed alot! I remember back in the day when all the soaps were on, it was so exciting to watch the Daytime Emmy’s because there were so many more people and soaps to choose from and then the anticipation of when Susan Lucci would finally win as she did back in 1999, just made it more interesting to me. These days, there are just too many awards shows, so I just look up online to see who won.

Some of the nominees are deserving (hello, Finola!) while others are quite surprising. I won’t name names but it feels like some of these folks were simply thrown a bone.

Proud of the nominees. The ones I would love see win are:

    Justin Hartley for Best Actor.
Linsey Godfrey for Best Supp. Actress (even though she should have been lead)
Jacob Young for Best Supp. Actor
    Ashlyn Pearce for Young Actress

    B&B for Best Writing
    B&B for Best Series

I saw Kassie DePaiva’s what some think she might have submitted for Best Actress. If she did I think she or Finola Hughes might take that. But I don’t really have a favorite there. I love Tracy Bregman but like Peggy McKay last year I feel she should be in the Supp. Actress category.

And I don’t have a favorite at all on Young Actor.

Congrats to all the nominees.I do have a few favorites that i hope win but i won’t be upset if someone wins instead.

Confusing. Some of those leads were more like support ing. But who cares? We can’t see it.
