‘Good Morning America’ to Reveal New ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Cast

“Good Morning America” is set to reveal the new “Dancing with the Stars” cast live on Tuesday, March 8, between 7 am and 9 am, on ABC. Over the years the competition series has featured an array of daytime stars, most memorably first season champ Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall, "General Hospital"). Good Morning America” is set to reveal the new cast of “Dancing with the Stars” live on Tuesday, March 8, between 7 am and 9 am, on ABC. Over the years the competition series has featured an array of daytime stars, most memorably first season champion Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall, “General Hospital”). Might a soap star past or present be in the mix this time around?

The show’s new season premieres Monday, March 21 at 8:00 PM, as a new cast of celebrities brave the dance floor for the very first time. Each week, the contestants will leave their comfort zones and endure hours of grueling rehearsals to master technical choreography and entertaining performances. In the end, one star will be crowned champion and win the coveted Mirrorball trophy.

Daytime performers who have vied for the award over the years include: John O’Hurley (ex-Kit Sterling, “All My Children), Tia Carrere (ex-Jade Soong Chung, “General Hospital”), Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan Lavery, “All My Children”), Lisa Rinna (ex-Billie Reed, “Days of our Lives”), Vivica A. Fox (ex-Maya Reubens, “Generations”), Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane, “All My Children), Aiden Turner (ex-Aidan Devane, “All My Children), David Hasselhoff (ex-Snapper Foster, “The Young and the Restless”), Antonio Sabato, Jr.  (ex-Jagger Cates, “General Hospital”), Brant Daugherty (ex-Brian, “Days of our Lives”), J.R Martinez (ex-Brot Monroe, “All My Children”) and Ingo Rademacher (ex-Jasper “Jax” Jacks, “General Hospital”).

Hosted by Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews, “Dancing with the Stars” is the hit series in which celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which are critiqued by a panel of ballroom experts, including returning head judge, Len Goodman, and dancers/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.

The show’s new season premieres Monday, March 21 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on ABC.
