The Young and the Restless” alum Chris McKenna (ex-Mark Harding) has found a new home, and it’s not too far from his old one. He’s been cast on CBS sister soap, “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

McKenna made the announcement on Twitter along with a picture of himself outside the CBS Studios complex: “First day of work on a new gig. I could swear I’ve been here before. #YR #BB @BandB_CBS #AcrossTheHall.”

He later tweeted that, “the confusion on everyone’s face as I walk down the hall is priceless,” mentioning former Y&R co-stars Doug Davidson (Paul), Steve Burton (Dylan) and Joshua Morrow (Nicholas).

McKenna started out playing a by-the-book Genoa City police detective on Y&R in 2014. The following year, his character was abruptly cast as the killer in a murder mystery that began with the demise of Noah’s (Robert Adamson) fiance Courtney (Kelli Gross).

Whether he’ll be playing a good guy or a bad guy on The Bold and the Beautiful remains to be seen. However, now that McKenna has a new soap lease on life, let’s just hope he doesn’t kill anybody.
