‘Y&R’s’ Kristoff St. John Talks ‘Joyous’ Reunion with Victoria Rowell

Kristoff St. John and Victoria Rowell, the duo who played Neil and Drucilla Winters on “The Young and the Restless” for over a decade, are back together again in a new project — the UPtv movie “A Baby for Christmas,” airing Sunday, December 13 at 7 pm and 9 pm. And St. John says it was a “joyous” reunion.

“Being reunited with her is like riding a bicycle. It was really joyous, because we had let a lot of time lapse,” shares St. John, who had last worked with Rowell on Y&R in 2007, before collaborating with her again on “Marry US for Christmas” in 2014. “So it was a lot of fun [filming on location with her] in Atlanta, both last year and this year for Christmas movies.”

Once again, the Chandler family returns with another story about love, family and the joy of the season. Much to Stephanie’s (Victoria Rowell) dismay the clan seems to be distracted from the usual family holiday traditions. Her daughter Marci (Malinda Williams) and son-in-law Blair (Karon Riley) are eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child due on Christmas day and doing everything in their power to ensure that they have the perfect baby girl.

Meanwhile, Marci’s Aunt Myra (DeEtta West) and Uncle Donald (Greg Alan Williams), bored with retirement, head to an orphanage to help children in need, and Aunt Elizabeth (Chrystale Wilson) is obsessed about getting a promotion at work. Add to the mix, Stephanie’s blooming romance with Lawrence (Kristoff St. John), who is torn between being with her or continuing his mission work in another country.

“The tremendously talented cast shines in the third installment of this entertaining, romantic story that reminds our viewers what the holidays are truly about,” said ” says Barbara Fisher, SVP, original programming, UP.
