So you probably have already heard that Netflix green-lit a revival of the popular ABC comedy series "Full House," but you probably didn't know that said house, titled "Fuller House," will also include some familiar names from the soap opera world.

So you probably have already heard that Netflix green-lit a revival of the popular ABC comedy series “Full House,” but you probably didn’t know that said house, titled “Fuller House,” will also include some familiar names from the soap opera world.

Former “All My Children” star Eva LaRue (ex-Maria Santos) and former “One Life to Live” star John Brotherton (ex-Jared Banks) have signed on for the new series which will premiere sometime in 2016 on the leading Internet TV network giant. They join other former soapers John Stamos (ex-Blackie Parish, “General Hospital”) and Lori Loughlin (ex-Jody Travis, “The Edge of Night”), who reprise their roles as Uncle Jesse and his wife, Becky. Stamos is a producer on the series and is currently only expected to appear as a guest star.

LaRue, who will be a series regular, will play Danny Tanner’s (Bob Saget) new wife, Teri. Brotherton, however, is only expected to appear in episode 104, entitled “The Not-So-Great Escape.” The actor previously attached a copy of the script cover on his Instagram page when the news first came to light earlier this month, but the image has since been removed (for obvious reasons).

In a twist on the original series, “Fuller House” follows a pregnant and recently widowed veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron-Bure), who is once again living in San Francisco. D.J.’s younger sister/aspiring musician Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) and D.J.’s lifelong best friend/fellow single mother Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), along with Kimmy’s feisty teenage daughter Ramona, all move in to help take care of D.J.’s two boys — the rebellious 12-year-old J.D. and neurotic 7-year-old Max — and her soon-to-arrive baby. Twins Aaron and Griffin Kunitz, who portrayed Sami and EJ’s son Johnny on “Days of our Lives” until their departure in 2014, will pull double duty as Max.

Also returning to “Fuller House” are Scott Weinger as D.J’s former flame, Steve, and Dave Coulier as Joey.
