Several daytime stars, including “Days of our Lives” actors Jen Lilley (Theresa Donovan) and Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera), “General Hospital” actors Ian Buchanan (Duke Lavery) and Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), along with former “DAYS” and “All My Children” actress Chrishell Stause, have banded together in a new Public Service Announcement (PSA) to help raise awareness to the Childhelp #FiveTooMany Campaign during National Child Abuse Prevention Month (April).

“I want to do everything I can to help end child abuse in the U.S.,” said Lilley, who serves as the Childhelp Celebrity Ambassador of the campaign, which was filmed during last year’s celebrity bowling tournament. “Lending my name to this cause and asking my friends to do the same is the least we can do to combat the fact that five children die each day in America because of abuse and neglect. We want to change that number and we hope the #FiveTooMany PSA will provide essential information so victims can get help.”

Joining them in the campaign are E! News correspondents Gregory Zarian and Lawrence Zarian, and actors Ginger Gonzaga (“Ted”), Eric Roberts (“The Young and the Restless”), Stevie Lynn Jones and Scott Swartz.

A report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds and nearly 3.3 million reports of child abuse are made annually. Childhelp’s programs work to solve these issues daily. For more information on how you can help, visit www.childhelp.org/end-five-many/.
