Congrats to all the nominees because i’m sure they were all deserving.I do wish others had been nominated too but i’m not on the nominating committee and i wouldn’t want to be.As for who i want to win here are my choices:DOOL,Eileen Davidson,Jason Thompson,Jane Elliot,Bradford Anderson,Kim Matula and Chandler Massey.

    • Patrick Ferrando

I’m hoping for BB, Eileen, Billy, Liz, Scott, Hunter and Max.
For YR I have to admit I’m disappointed by Case NOT being nominated, and by the SB nom.
Some of the “snubs” for Show, Writing and Directing though make me warm all over.

But AMC should have been nom’d before OLTL.

    • RobNYC

I think for best shows in daytime drama there should not be nominees. There are only a handful left and so they should just announce a winner and play clips from all the daytime dramas.

      • sherwood

I guess it won’t be televised. Amazing to see these awards slip into oblivion.

    • Rob Royall

Pretty stunning that General Hospital was snubbed for Best Drama, Best Writing, and Best Directing. I imagine the production team is very upset today.

      • TV&MovieBuff

Some theorists are saying that it is due to Ron C. and his rants on Twitter, his supposed love from the press and how they ignore the others, and esp. his rant and outrage at Days winning Best Writing from the writer’s guild. he has really made himself unpopular among many in the industry.

        • Elizabeth_Erwin

Not as unpopular as he is among longtime GH fans….

      • Bexx

        RC must be spinning.

      • Elizabeth_Erwin

        And a well deserved MISS!

      • KansasGuest

The biggest snub is to the Emmys themselves. Apparently, they aren’t even notable enough to be televised on a cable news network…or Lifetime…or the TV Guide Channel. OUCH! GH gets validation from the place it needs it the most – the network. As long as ABC likes what they are doing & keeps them on the air, all else is gravy, baby!

    • SchMOKEup420

KELLEY MISSAL, as Danielle Manning should without a doubt win that category hands down. I don’t watch much soap operas but she did an amazing job on the re boot of OLTL.

    • nancy

I hope their’s a tie between Eileen Davidson Arianne zucker they are both so beautiful and talented

    • nancy

I hope chandler massey wins again a wounderful actor and so talented I did not know he can be nominated again for his charater that he dumped for why would he not play that part when he’snominated again for

    • TV&MovieBuff

I am glad that KKL finally got a nom for B&B, but sorry it is not in a better year. It is a long overdue for the Best Actress nom but this isn’t her year.

As to winners, I think Days will win Best Series and Writing. I think Y&R will take Directing.

Love to actually see Billy Miller or Doug Davidson win Best Actor but afraid the 4 Y&R actors will split the votes and it will go to Jason Thompson who is not a bad winner either.

Love to see a tie between Heather Tom & Eileen Davidson for Best Actress.

Jane Eliot, Egan or Hendrickson for Best Supporting Actress.

Scott Clifton for Best Supporting Actor

      Daniel Polo for Young Actor.

      Kelley Missal for Young Actress.
