As we previously reported, former “One Life to Live” actor Josh Kelly (Cutter Wentworth) had landed a starring role in Lifetime’s pilot, “Un-Real,” which has now officially been picked up by the network!

Deadline reports that Lifetime has ordered 10 episodes of the series, which was inspired by the award-winning short “Sequin Raze” and centers around a fictional competitive dating program in which the relationships of the contestants are manipulated to spur major drama and outrageous footage. Kelly plays the role of Jeremy, whose ex-girlfriend (Shiri Appleby) is responsible for the relationship meddling.

“’Un-Real’ is unlike anything that exists on television today,” says Lifetime GM Rob Sharenow. “It’s premium and original on every level, and we’re thrilled that Marti Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro’s unique series will be Lifetime’s first program produced by A+E Studios.”

Congratulations, Josh!
