‘Y&R’ Actors Support Hunter King After Alleged Behind the Scenes Drama Is Made Public

Thanks! #YR," following reports of an alleged groping of her breasts by King's former co-star Michael Muhney (Adam Newman), who was reportedly fired from the drama series last month as a result of the incident, the quest for love and support for the actress, who plays Summer Newman on the daytime soap opera, came in droves.

When a fan of CBS’ “The Young and the Restless tweeted, “Can all my soap followers do me a favor and send some love and support to @HunterHaleyKing? Thanks! #YR, following reports of an alleged groping of her breasts by King’s former co-star Michael Muhney (Adam Newman), who was reportedly fired from the drama series last month as a result of the incident, the quest for love and support for the actress, who plays Summer Newman on the daytime soap opera, came in droves.

Since the tweet was made, it has received over 50 retweets and more than 50 favorites, of which included a retweet or comment by “Y&R’s” Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe), Christel Khalil (Lily) and Greg Rikaart (Kevin). Since then, King has also received love and support via comment or retweet from fellow co-stars Joshua Morrow (Nicholas), Eileen Davidson (Ashley), Kristoff St. John (Neil), Jessica Collins (Avery), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) and Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren), just to name a few of the actors that have publicly acknowledged the situation at hand after receiving endless amounts of inquiries by fans over the past couple of days.

While Hendrickson acknowledged her support of King by a simple retweet of the fan quest, Khalil responded by saying, “LOVE U HUNTER.” Things would later get derailed when a commenter responded to the love/support tweet of King with, “isn’t she the whore that got MM fired?” Rikaart stuck up for the actress by saying, “Be very careful, lady. That’s someone’s kid ur talking about.” He added, “Not my business any more than it is yours,” when asked by the same commenter to show them physical reports of the alleged incident before they would apologize for what they said of King.

Morrow, who plays King’s onscreen father, tweeted out, “Some people better lighten up on @HunterHaleyKing Shes a great kid & doesn’t deserve any1 sayin anything negative about her #Ridiculous.” His tweet received over 330 retweets and was favorited over 400 times, which included a retweet by Bregman, St. John, Collins, Egan, among others.

Davidson took a stand against those attacking King for all of the things that have unfolded since the tabloid story was first published. She said, “2 u who r bashing @HunterHaleyKing. Shes amazing, brave & courageous. She deserves 2 b applauded & repsected. THE END.” Prior to the tweet, Davidson said, “@HunterHaleyKing I have so much respect for you Hunter. My thoughts are with you. xoxoxox.”
