Just as we report Tristan Rogers‘ last airdate on “General Hospital,” we can now report on his first airdate on “The Young and the Restless.”

A rep for the CBS daytime soap tells Soap Opera Network that the actor will mark his return as Colin Atkinson beginning with the Wednesday, February 5 episode of the drama series.

As previously reported, the actor began filming last week for the first time since his character left the canvas in May 2012, and following a brief return stint at “GH,” which concludes on Thursday, January 30.

In celebration of his return, Daniel Goddard, who plays onscreen son Cane Ashby, tweeted an image of himself with Rogers along with one of the two actors alongside Jess Walton (Jill Abbott Fenmore). One of the tweets read, “‘Reunited and it feels so good!’ The one and only @tristanrogers is back @YRInsider @CBSDaytime #War #CaneVsColin #yr,” which shed some light on where the storyline is headed between Cane and his daddy.

On his return to the set, Rogers said, “The first day on any set, regardless of familiarity, is always edgy.” He added, “So far so good. This is all about fun.”
