According to Soap Opera Digest, “General Hospital‘s” Tyler Christopher (Nikolas Cassadine) is back on contract with the ABC Daytime drama series. The actor is quoted by the mag as saying, “It took us a few months to work out the details, but I signed last week.” He added, “I’m really happy about it. I love the show and I’m having a great time.”
Christopher returned to the “GH” canvas earlier this year after being let go from the series in 2011. He last appeared as a contract member of “GH” on the Thursday, June 30, 2011 episode.
The actors signing on to “GH” once more could mean bad news for ABC Family’s “The Lying Game,” in which Christopher portrays Dan Whitehorse. The primetime series is currently awaiting word of a third season pickup from the cable network. The series was created by former “GH” co-head writer, Charles Pratt, Jr.
