The comedy, penned by Lannan and directed by Andrew Haigh, follows three thirty-something friends living in San Francisco who wrestle with all of the options presented in modern life and the complexities of being gay while doing so. Groff plays the lead, named Patrick, a successful video game developer who’s not exactly as savvy when it comes to his personal life.

Production on the series is reported to start this fall in San Francisco for a possible 2014 premiere.
