Just hours after news broke that “’” star (Abby Newman) was leaving the show and headed to play “’s” Lulu Spencer, word spread that the soap had already replaced her! A CBS spokesperson has confirmed to Soap Opera Network that the drama series has tapped actress to take over the role of the Newman heiress.

Fans may recognize the young actress and model from such shows as “” and “,” as well as from the film “.” But her new co-stars, (Noah Newman) and (Summer Newman) will no doubt recognize her from the Teen Nick/Nick@Nite series “.” All three actors are alums of the 2012 teen centric series.

Rylan will last air on Wednesday, April 10, per Soap Opera Digest. Look for Ordway’s first appearance in the role beginning Monday, April 22.

    She fits…you can’t go wrong with ex CW talent which was home to Privleged…right? If I were EP, I would steal as many CW actors as possible because they hit the demo sweet spot.
