Sara (Natasha Henstridge) and Roy (Sean Patrick Flannery) decide to start a new life after an almost fatal accident and move to the small town of Cold Spring. The accident also acts as a wake-up call for Roy who breaks off an affair he has been having with Diane, however she shows up declaring she cannot live without him. When Roy insists he will remain faithful to Sara, women begin turning up dead and Roy becomes the prime suspect.

Ali (Elizabeth Rohm) is an aspiring artist on the verge of being noticed by the art world when an automobile accident takes the life of her husband (Patrick Muldoon) and little girl and leaves her blind.  Her doctor (Elizabeth Pena) suggests she hire a caretaker, Jeff (Sam Page), to help her adjust to living in a sightless world. At first against having any help, she gives in and Jeff becomes an integral part of her life. On one of her daily walks, she meets Linda (Shannon Elizabeth), the young woman who moves in across the street. The two become fast friends, which upsets Jeff who is becoming more obsessed with Ali every day. He fantasizes they are a family and even replaces all of her husband’s photos with his own. When Ali finds Linda’s dead body, she begins to suspect Jeff had something to do with it and tells him she no longer needs his services. When Jeff refuses to leave, Ali realizes she needs to use all of her other senses to save her life.

Rob Lowe portrays Jeff Ashton, the Florida prosecutor in the controversial Caylee Anthony murder trial and author of the best-selling book “Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony,” upon which the movie is based. Also starring in the movie are Elizabeth Mitchell (“Revolution”), who portrays lead prosecutor Linda Burdick; Oscar Nunez (“The Office”) as Casey Anthony’s attorney Jose Baez; Marisa Ramirez (“Spartacus: Gods of the Arena”) plays Ashton’s wife Rita; Kevin Dunn (“Transformers”) as George Anthony and Virginia Welch (“A God Named Pablo”) is Casey Anthony.
