AMC Recap: Friday, July 1, 2011

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Randi is shocked by Madison’s new, fierce, look. Madison’s confident and has a new sense of self. She says she has found what is missing at Fusion. Madison presents a line called Fierce that will empower women. Both Greenlee and Randi compliment her but when they offer some constructive criticism Madison takes it personally and leaves. David is taken aback when the woman he tries to pick up at the bar is Madison.

As Tad’s making breakfast for Cara, Kendall shows up and Cara assumes she wants to know where Griffin is. She asks Kendall why she didn’t stop him from leaving and wonders why neither can admit their feelings for one another. Kendall admits to Greenlee that she misses Griffin.

After a fitfull sleep Dixie awakes. Offended by Cara’s comments, Kendall takes her own shots and points out Tad needs more than understanding in a relationship. Tad comforts an emotional Cara after it hits her that Griffin is gone. The two share a real kiss and wondering what to do next, the couple heads out for a walk.

Ryan asks Greenlee to let him go after David alone and she agrees, saying she has a lot of work to do at Fusion. After making love with David, Jane is a bit emotional since it’s her first time since everything that happened. She’s worried about Jackson finding out and David assures her he won’t tell. Off a call from Ben that Erica’s losing it, Jane heads over to do damage control. Erica tells Jane she is not trying to have her life, she is trying to destroy it. Erica tells her not to do anything that will compromise her relationship with Jackson. She warns Jane about getting into bed with David – although she means if figuratively Jane takes it literally – and Jane admits she slept with David. Erica pushes her and she is knocked unconscious when she hits the ground. After learning from Jackson that Erica spent the night at the hospital with David, Ryan talks to David, concerned about him wanting to spend time with Erica. He breaks into David’s room and finds Erica’s earrings. Ryan shares with Kendall and Greenlee some information he learned from the maid, Erica spent the night in David’s hotel room.
