Y&R PreVUE: Week of June 6 Edition

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — A look at what's happening on "The Young and the Restless" during the week of June 6, 2011.

THIS WEEK ON: THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Abby decides it's time to tell the truth, but comes up short in the eyes of the D.A. on Monday, June 6. Diane believes Adam has some feelings for her but Adam blows off her notions. Katherine stoops low in trying to get Sofia to step down in her job, Tuesday, June 7. Sharon and Sam's continuous bond with one another is tested when someone unexpected shows up at the farm. On Wednesday, June 8 Victoria crushes Katherine's dream, while Katherine, in turn, crushes Jack's.

The Inside Story: Phyllis's Unholy Alliance
Daniel, who wants Billy and Victoria to have Lucy as their own, decides to go to court to testify that he's willing to let the Abbott's adopt the baby. The judge soon asks Rafe if he knows of anyone that has any objections to Daniel's decision, and all are stunned when Kevin shows up, wanting to talk. They are greatly at ease when he backs Daniel's decision in letting Lucy stay with Billy and Victoria. They are then informed by the judge that a recess will take place before any decision is made. While the court proceedings have ceased, Phyllis, who has lured Daisy back to Genoa City, works to manipulate the young woman into wanting her parental rights with Lucy. Phyllis's plan works and the two of them, along with Leslie, make their way to the courthouse. Back at the courthouse, the judge has made a decision: Billy and Victoria can adopt Lucy. Everyone in attendance of the proceedings are happy for the two of them, but that happiness is destroyed courtesy of Phyllis, who has arrived with Daisy in tow. The judge wants an explanation and Phyllis gives one: she says Daisy wants her rights as a mother back and has agreed that Phyllis should be able to have visitations to Lucy. Daniel and Lauren are outraged by Phyllis's callous actions. Daniel warns Daisy that his mother is only using her to get Lucy and once Lucy is in her hands, she's history. Lauren confronts Phyllis about her betraying her, then goes after Daisy, but is pulled away by Michael before she can get her hands on the troublemaker. Daisy attempts to right many wrongs but her attempts and explanations fall on deaf ears. Meanwhile, the judge informs all that the ruling that was decided will still remain in affect, however, there will be another court case in the near future.

A Closer Look: Revelations Turn into Deceit
Jill decides to make plans to take Colin back to Australia for romance. Colin, however, decides that it is time for him to put his plan in effect to get the twins. Unfortunately, Genevieve, who shared devestating memories of her past with Colin, with Cane, decides to tamper into Colin's cell phone. A past letter that Cane had written before his 'death' surfaces, containing very disturbing information. It finds it's way into an already fragile Lily's hands. Meanwhile, Cane feels helpless to comfort Lily, but does whatever he can for the sake of his children. Colin decides to go to the cemetery, unaware that Cane and Jill are following. While at the cemetery, Colin gets the shock of his life when Genevieve appears to him. As they are talking, Jill slowly learns the truth about why Colin truly came to Genoa City, as well as why he wanted to marry her. Confrontations lead to rage as Colin vows to get what he's after, regardless of anyone else. In the meantime, the past of Genevieve slowly comes together. When Colin and Genevieve face-off with one another, an argument ensues. Before the eyes of Lily, Daniel, Neil and Jill, they watch as Genevieve shoves Colin off of a balcony. Unable to stay in hiding for long, Cane decides to be there for Lily.
