What You Talkin' Bout Chrishell (Stause)?

UPDATE POSTED @ 12:49 PM ET:

Chrishell Stause has updated her twitter page and noted that she's hearing confirmation on the rumors that we've all been talking about (which  rumor is that exactly?). Meanwhile, she denied tweeting the picture of the Easter Eggs as posted by an anti-executive twitter account. Soap Opera Network apologizes for attributing that to Chrishell.  So what rumor are we about to learn is true?  Tune in to find out!

      PREVIOUS @ 4:37 AM ET

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — We're not saying she's referring to what we're thinking/hoping she's referring to, but it sure didn't squash the possibility, now did it? What exactly are we talking about? "All My Children's" Chrishell Stause (Amanda Martin) tweeted something very interesting on her Twitter page on Easter Sunday along with a retweet of a picture posted by a Twitter account demanding the ouster of Brian Frons, President, Daytime, Disney/ABC Television Group. Of course, said tweets were immediately deleted. Unfortunately, the power of the internet keeps your postings alive forever!

Late last night, Soap Opera Network received a screen grab of Stause tweeting that "a little birdie on a big chair leaked possible HUGE information to me :D My lips are sealed but it has a possibility of making many happy!" That tidbit of information could have meant anything, but her re-tweet of this picture made it a little obvious (unless we're wishfully thinking?). In addition to all of that, Chrishell tweeted @RyanBasford with "I wish I could say-but there are serious talks going on I found out for sure. I'm leaving anyway-but I want the show to go on!" when asked if recently canceled "AMC" would be picked up by a cable network now that ABC doesn't want it. Though her "I'm leaving anyway" does sound a little, shall we say odd. For those wondering, Ryan Basford is a talent production assistant at E!'s "Chelsea Lately."

Playing devils advocate, could the tweets be the workings of a hacker? Far fetched? Brandon Buddy (ex-Cole Thornhart, "One Life to Live") claimed his Twitter account was hacked when it tweeted he was leaving the soap when his contract was up. He did end up leaving at the end of his contract, even though he immediately denied his hacker's rumor. Things that make you go, hmm.

What do you think all this means ladies and gents (yes, men do watch the soaps advertisers…in droves!)?

"As The Life of Children Turns" happens Weekdays Behind the Scenes at ABC. Never on TV.

'General Hospital' Casts Brenda's REAL Kid?

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — You got to love ABC Daytime for its usage of the word REAL in its on air promos when touting the return of Rebecca Budig as the REAL Greenlee Smythe on "All My Children" back in 2008, but this isn't about Greenlee so let's have none of that. On the networks "General Hospital," viewers have seen Brenda (Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo) holding onto hope that Lucian (played by cutie pie Elvis Martinez) is her long thought dead son with Alexander Janacek (the never seen son of Suzanne and Theo), even though her husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has his doubts. Next month, the show might prove Sonny right!

Soap Opera Network has learned that "GH" has cast child star Quinn Friedman in the role of Alec, who is presumed to be the REAL son of Brenda Barrett (now Corinthos). The actor's first airdate is set for Thursday, May 12. Joining him will be actress Joyce Guy in the role of Betty, an old pal of Adrienne Barbeau's Suzanne Stanwyck.

What does this mean for Lucian you ask? Who said anything about Brenda finding out?

If you think you might recognize Friedman, it is because he appeared in the Wednesday, April 6 episode of CBS' "Criminal Minds" entitled "Hanley Waters." He portrayed the role of Damien Chamberlin, the son of "One Life to Live" alum David Chisum's (ex-Miles Laurence) Don Chamberlin. Friedman also appeared in an episode of Showtime's "Weeds" last season.

From 'Madea' to 'Hunger Games,' 'AMC' Starlets Hit the Big Screen

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — The talented Shannon Kane played Natalia Fowler on “All My Children” from October 2008 to February 2011, and recently returned for a week long visit in late March. Socialite in training turned actress Leven Rambin played the sweet autistic Lily Montgomery from June 2004 to June 2008 and the dual role of the much more jaded Ava Benton on the same soap from from March 2007 to February 2008. In the last week, Kane has debuted in her second featured role in a motion picture; while Rambin has been cast in the first installment of one of the most anticipated film adaptations of a book series in years.

On Friday, April 22, Shannon Kane hit theaters everywhere in Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family: The Movie.” In the movie, Kane plays one of the three troubled children of Madea’s (Tyler Perry) even more troubled niece Shirley, played by the divine Loretta Devine. Kimberly, Kane’s character, is too consumed by her anger to see that her mother needs her. Perry’s latest film-adaptation of a theatrical production played slightly below the $30 million expectations, earning $25.8 million on it’s first weekend in theaters across the country. It was edged out for the number one spot by the animated family film “Rio” which earned $26.8 million on its second weekend of release. Previously in film, Kane portrayed the main love-interest of Richard Gere in “Brooklyn’s Finest,” a hooker named Chantel.

The Hunger Games,” originally published by Scholastic in September 2008, is an award-winning, top-selling (over 3 million copies sold in America alone) young-adult science fiction novel series written by Suzanne Collins. “The Hunger Games” takes place in post-apocalyptic world where The government of Panem – the area previously known as North America – known as the Capitol holds absolute power. Following a failed rebellion against the Capitol, each year one boy and one girl between the age of 12 to 18 from each of twelve poorer district in Panem are chosen to fight to the death to demonstrate the reach of the Capitol’s power. The lead characters in the novel are District 12′s Katniss and Peeta. 20-year old Jennifer Lawrence, a Best Actress Academy Award nominee for “Winter’s Bone,” and 18-year old Josh Hutcherson landed the coveted lead roles. 20-year old Rambin will co-star with Jack Quaid, son of Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan, as District 1′s ruthless career tributes Glimmer and Marvel. Although she has guest-starred in numerous prime-time shows, this is Rambin’s first trip to the big-screen. The Lionsgate Entertainment film which begins filming in late Spring is slated for release in theaters on March 23, 2012. Lionsgate expects the film adaptations of Collins series of “Hunger Games” books to rival that of Stephanie Meyer’sTwilight” adaptations.

Kane and Rambin are not the only recently departed “AMC” stars making a splash on the big-screen. As Soap Opera Network previously reported Colin Egglesfield will appear in theaters across the country beginning on May 6 in the film adaptation of the book “Something Borrowed.” He leads the cast with Kate Hudson, Ginnifer Goodwin and John Krasinski.

            ABC

Could the incompetence of a network executive get any uglier? Why yes, it can! The latest in a series of blunders by Brian Frons, President, Daytime, Disney/ABC Television Group, since the announcement that he has decided to “evolve” ABC Daytime by canceling “All My Children and “One Life to Live” by replacing them with “The Chew” and “The Revolution,” while sticking his foot in his mouth in interview (Deadline.com), after interview (Entertainment Weekly), after interview (The Wrap), comes a scathing report by another Disney Insider that paints Frons as an executive without much imagineers (Disney speak for imagination).

'AMC's' Bianca Set to Make Time For Romance?

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — “All My Children’s” has cast a date for their resident lesbian. Will her romantic drought finally come to an end?

Michelle Rose will debut on “All My Children” this week. She will be portraying Louise, the beautiful blind date JR Chandler (Jacob Young) sets up Bianca Montgomery (Christina Bennett Lind) with.

Unfortunately, with Rose wrapping up her stint on Wednesday, April 27, Louise doesn’t appear to make much of an impact on Bianca. Louise is left defenseless as Ms. Montgomery continues to only find herself attracted to straight, bi-curious, bi-sexual and transgender females. On that note, “AMC” will continue teasing an attraction between Bianca and JR’s seemingly straight ex-wife Marissa (Sarah Glendening) this May.

Rose has worked as a stunt double on series such as CBS’s “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “CSI: NY” and the film “The Expendables.” Her previous acting credits include guest-roles on NBC’s “Parenthood” and KDOC’s “Hacienda Heights.”

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — "The Young and the Restless" Episode Recap – Friday, April 22, 2011.

              IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Adam arrives at Victor's ranch, furious that he's had the locks changed on Sharon's house. Victor tells him that he has no place there, therefore, he did what he wanted. His son blasts him, telling him that he has no claim on her home. Victor challenges him to take him to court. When he walks in, threatening to do so, DA Spencer Walsh appears, and tells him that he has some questions for him. After being finger-pointed as the one that helped Sharon get away, an angry Adam tells DA Walsh to either arrest him or go to hell.

Phyllis and Jack are getting ready for Sharon's funeral. He comments that she's been acting distant ever since returning from the Caribbean. She quickly defends her mood by telling him that she's been busy with work and dealing with Summer. Jack asks why she's getting upset. Again, she defends her mood and tells him she's been exhausted and all she wants to do is go to the funeral.

Sam offers to help Sharon by giving her some money to get some necessities or in case she needs it on her way back to where she was headed. She instead takes up his offer to get her a fresh change of clothes. He agrees to take her, but she balks and tells him she simply doesn't want anyone seeing her. Sam takes her list of items she wants and heads out.

Kevin is upset that the account information has been wiped away from his computer. Jana wonders who would go to such lengths to keep them from finding out the truth. The minute Daniel and Abby walk in, Kevin begins to put the pieces together and realizes that he was the only one that was there at the time the two were on the computer. He approaches Daniel and states his accusations at him. Daniel tells him he had nothing to do with his computer. An angry Kevin punches him and tells him he's not giving up on finding his niece.

Nick, Doris and Noah are the first to arrive at the funeral home. As they are talking about her, a delivery man comes in with a large bouquet of mixed roses. Nick goes over to find out who they are from and is annoyed to discover that Adam sent them. Jack and Phyllis arrive at the church and as Jack is consoling Noah, Phyllis exits to see Nick. She tells him that they need to do something; she can't keep lying to Jack. Offering him comfort, Nick accepts, the two unaware that both Jack and Diane are looking on from a distance.

Jana heads back to the Abbott home to see after Lucy when the doorbell rings. She opens it and is stunned to see Agnes there. She asks how she found her. Agnes admits that she followed her from the coffee shop. Agnes tells her that she can't stop thinking about her wanting to find the baby. In turn, Jana gives her telephone number to the young woman and gets hers as well. When Agnes is set to leave, she spots some of baby Lucy's clothes. Picking up an outfit, Agnes exclaims that it was what her baby was wearing at the time Primrose took her baby.

The funeral is set to start. Abby wants to know why Daniel and Kevin were fighting. He brushes it off, but when he's set to go into the church, he spots Billy and wants to talk to him. Before the two can get into conversation, the pastor calls them to come in for the service to begin. Minutes later, DA Walsh and two cops arrive. He has them posted at the entry way of the church, specifying that Adam is not to get in. When he does arrive, he tries to push his way in, but is stopped when the DA tells him they have a restraining order. The police usher an angry, yet determined Adam out of the church.

Changing into her clothes, Sharon stares at herself in the mirror and day dreams that Adam has come to be with her. As he is hugging her, she smiles, but her smile changes when Adam lets her go and asks why she left him. The daydream soon changes to Nick and Noah asking her the same thing: why she had to leave them behind. A heartbroken Sharon questions what she's to do. Just then, Sam arrives, and she quickly covers her sadness.

The pastor starts with the service and says words about Sharon. While the service is going on, Adam, who is outside the church spots his roses thrown on the ground. He spots his opportunity to get into the church when he spots the trellis railing leading up to the bell tower. Back inside, Nick is sharing with his family and friends the first time he and Sharon met and fell in love. Phyllis and Diane watch on as he says that Sharon was his one true love.

As the funeral is concluding, everyone is getting ready to leave when the bell begins to chime constantly. Adam descends down and tells everyone that he's not going to be kept from Sharon's funeral by them. He's going to have his say about Sharon and they can't stop him from doing it..
