The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards Pre-Nominations Announced

(SoapOperaNetwork)  —  Daytime moves one step closer to announcing the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominees.

On Wednesday, February 9, TV Guide.ca released the initial list of nominees for the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. That initial list was a compilation of every actor on every show who submitted their name for a nomination. The list also revealed which category each actor submitted in for their 2010 performances. The step that proceeded this was in-house voting for the final nominees for each soap opera. If there were more than two actors listed in any category for any specific soap opera the two actors with the most votes moved on to get a Pre-Nomination unless their was a tie – in that case three or more actors are allowed to move on in the process. That voting came to conclusion and the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards Pre-Nominees were announced on Friday, February 25.

The following is a list of all the submitted names for each daytime soap opera. The actors who were voted on to the official Pre-Nomination list for the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards are listed in bold:
