Colombino’s ‘World’ Brings Her to Llanview

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — “One Life to Live” will welcome yet another new cast member this fall when former “As the World Turns” star Terri Colombino (ex-Katie Peterri) turns up in the fictional Pennsylvania suburb.

Colombino has been cast in the contract role of Aubrey, who is described as “a beautiful, sexy Caucasian woman in her mid 20s-30s, whose proper breeding masks her free-spirited nature,” who shares a connection with the Buchanan clan. She is expected to make her Llanview debut sometime in late November.

The 35-year-old Indiana native was a part of the “ATWT” cast from 1999-2010. She earned both Daytime Emmy Award and Soap Opera Digest Award nods for the role in 2001. In addition she has appeared on “Breaker High” and “A Baby Story,” as well as the movie “iMurders.”

    IT HAPPENED TODAY…

    As Scott holds to his confession of stealing Palmer’s idea, Caleb is furious at him for pretending to be on Palmer’s side the last few days of his life. Feds arrive and take Scott down to the station so he can make an official confession.

    Natalia asks Angie to keep quiet about her relationship with Brot. Jesse wishes Brot success in his quest for a promotion. Natalia’s plan to tell Brot how she feels is interrupted by the feds bringing Scott into the station.

    Liza’s attempts to connect with Colby fall flat. Colby makes it clear to Liza that just because she hired Damon doesn’t mean she can come back into her life.

    After Caleb gives him some advice, Jackson apologizes for getting off on the wrong foot and admits he owes him for saving Erica’s life. Caleb tells Jackson that once he wins the company back he will honor Palmer’s wishes and let Erica run it with him.

    IT HAPPENED TODAY…

    After a struggle Starr escapes from Eli and hides in a stairwell. Starr leaves a desperate message with Hannah to tell Cole that she has Hope in Cherryvale and needs him to come get them immediately and not to alert the authorities.

    Téa attempts to escape from Cheryvale and runs into Eli. After getting medical supplies, Eli forces Dani back into the car after having locked Tea in the trunk.

    Marty comforts Cole at his apartment. Todd tells Blair Starr and Hope have been kidnapped. Marty lets slip to Natalie that Greg came to see her not long ago, weighed down by remorse over something he’d done to Téa.

    IT HAPPENED TODAY…

    Brenda insists to Sonny that they can never be together, but Sonny does not buy it. Robin calls Jax out on still wanting to go after Brenda despite Carly. Carly swears to Jason that she will never let Brenda have Jax.

    Siobhan is caught hiding, but “Ronan” makes it clear she is his partner in crime before they can kill her. Lucky determines Siobhan must go to Rome with him. Jason questions Brenda about what secret is she hiding about the Balkan.

    Patrick realizes it is Robin’s birthday when a present he ordered months ago arrives. Mac surprises Robin with a birthday party when she arrives home from the hospital. Patrick decides to fight for his marriage and he shows up at the house with the present for Robin and they share a tender yet heartbroken moment.

    (SoapOperaNetwork.com) – “All My Children” actor wraps up his stint this week paving the was for his replacement.

    Adam Mayfield makes his final appearance in the role of Scott Chandler this Friday, October 15. The actor, who is currently shooting an independent film, debuted in the role of Scott in April of 2009. Look for Daniel Cosgrove (ex-Bill, GL; ex-Chris, ATWT) to reclaim the role he played on “All My Children” from 1996 to 1998 this December.

    On Mayfield’s final episode as Scott, look for Stuart Chandler’s (Mayfield) fallen son to share parting words with his cheating wife Annie (Melissa Claire Egan), his self-serving cousin JR (Jacob Young) and his bitter friend Marissa (Brittany Allen) before being carted off to an off-screen prison for approximately two months.

    Brittany Allen, who was let go from “AMC” at the same time Mayfield was, will continue to air in the role of Marissa Chandler for the foreseeable future. The latest reports indicate that the role is still in the process of being recast.

    IT HAPPENED TODAY…

    Eli abducts Starr, Dani and Hope and takes them to Cherryvale Clinic to get supplies for his gunshot wound. Dani goes in to get supplies and unknowingly comes upon Téa’s room. Téa realizes something peculiar is happening and doesn’t trust anyone.

    Todd and John find the dead babysitter and Starr, Dani and Hope missing. Greg tells Natalie that Téa is alive. Viki expresses her concerns about Echo to Rex and Natalie.

    Rex finds out that Echo is indeed not leaving town and seems to be hanging around with Clint. Clint waits for Inez at Rodi’s, but she never shows up. Echo offers Clint an understanding ear.

    Sonny introduces Brenda to Dante, who explains he is investigating Sonny for a car bomb crime.

    Maxie wants Brenda gone, for the sake of Spinelli.

    After a fiery kiss, Siobhan sucker punches Lucky and gets no help from Luke. Lucky as Ronan is summoned by the Balkan and is assigned to kidnap Brenda Barrett.

    Scott walks in on JR and Annie fighting but doesn’t seem to care that they’re worried about Erica knowing about the stolen idea from Palmer. Erica bumps into Asher and tries to get him to work with her and Caleb against JR. Without anyone seeing, Scott grabs a gun from the safe. Colby blames Annie for all the problems within her family. Caleb arrives at the Chandler Mansion and serves JR with papers stating Marissa has full custody of AJ while the custody case is ongoing. Scott  admits to Caleb with Annie and JR in the room, that he stole from Palmer.

    Kendall strategizes with Ryan on how to handle the bad press Greenlee’s trial is bringing them.

    Greenlee storms out after Ryan insists he be put on the stand to help her case.

    Beginning Monday, October 11 Young and the Restless will show additional encore episodea in the old time slot of As the World Turns.

    After Deacon busts Meggie for tampering with Nikki's drink, she sweets talks him into helping her get what she wants, Monday, October 11 Ashley begins to realize that some things about Tucker are very unappealing. On Tuesday, October 12 Neil and Sofia decide they must come to some sort of agreement with one another. The secret that Cane has been keeping underwraps is finally uncovered. Friday, October 15 Diane invites Tucker into making a very promising proposition with one another.

    The Inside Story: The Hardest of Decisions

    After Murphy has a second heart attack, doctors inform Kay that he may never recover. This news instantly breaks Kay down and she begins to fear the worst truly is here. Once alone with Murphy, Kay remembers Muphy's previous conversation with her, and she again worries. She soon realizes that she might have to take him off of life support. After time alone to pray, she comes to her decision to take him off life support. Meanwhile, all of Katherine's loved ones come to her side. Meggie, arrives and comes into Murphy's room. Just as she's about to have thim taken off life support, Murphy's eyes open and stare directly at Meggie

    A Closer Look: Back for a Reason

    Phyllis is none-too-pleased to see Diane breezing back into Genoa City and instantly begins to worry that she will try to woo Jack back into her life. When asked on her reasoning for coming back, Diane immediately points out that she believes that Jack and Kyle need to have father/son bonding time. Jack quickly agrees that they should get closer, which worries Phylllis. Diane soon asks if it is possible for her and Kyle to reside at the pool house, but Jack, seeing how upset Phyllis is, tells Diane that is not an option. Once Diane is gone, Phyllis lets Jack have it, but he explains to Phyllis that he's not about to be fooled into Diane's tricks again. Meanwhile at the Athletic Club, Diane catches Victor off guard. Nikki, who sees Diane, snarkily comments on if she's coming back to Genoa City to find her next husband. Later on that day, Jack is over-joyed to finally be reuinited with Kyle, and comes to the realization that Diane has taken very good care of their son.
