Ricky Paull Goldin Expecting First Child

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — The stork visits another “All My Children” cast member.

Forty-five year old Ricky Paull Goldin, who plays Dr. Jake Martin on “All My Children,” is expecting his first child with “The Rachael Ray Show” correspondent and girlfriend Gretta Monahan.

In relating news, this past Friday on Twitter, Goldin revealed he’d be appearing on “The Rachael Ray Show” in a special piece concerning first time parents. Goldin and Monahan are expected to officially announce their joyous news on the Thursday, September 23 edition of the talk-show. Monahan, who was already showing a bit of a baby bump at the Daytime Emmy Awards in Las Vegas earlier this summer, is reportedly due in the not too distant future.

Goldin started his daytime career on NBC’s “Another World” as anti-hero Dean Frame in 1990, he then moved on to CBS’s “The Young and the Restless” where he played stalked Gary Dawson. In 2001, Goldin began a critically acclaimed run as detective Gus Aitoro on CBS’s “Guiding Light.” Not long after exiting that role in 2008, Goldin landed on his feet at “AMC” as one of the famous Martin brothers. Goldin’s story on “AMC” is scheduled to heat up later this fall when Jake’s past comes back to haunt him.
