(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — "As The World Turns" is set to air its final episode on Friday, September 17, and the show replacing it, "The Talk," isn't set to debut until Monday, October 18, so what does CBS plan to air for the four weeks in between? Soap Opera Network has the schedule.

Beginning Monday, September 20, episodes of CBS' remaining lineup including original broadcasts of "The Price is Right" and "Let's Make a Deal" along with repeats of top ranked "The Young and the Restless" will air in the 2:00 PM ET/1:00 PM PT period currently occupied by the departing "As The World Turns." According to CBS, the repeat airings of "Y&R" will include "episodes that are emotionally relevant to current stories," which is code for shows that aired in the recent past. Knowing how ABC does their "relevant to current stories" repeat airings, it is presumed that the network will be airing episodes following the upcoming death of a major character and its subsequent episodes which includes a military salute to said character at their funeral.

Due to their game show nature, CBS is able to order new episodes of "Let's Make a Deal" and "The Price is Right" without much prep-time. The same can not be said for daytime soaps such as "Y&R" or "The Bold and the Beautiful," which need months of preparation before a new episode airs on the network. Therefore, CBS will be airing original episodes of both game shows and "Y&R" during their regular time slots in addition to the originals (repeats for "Y&R") airing in the soon to be vacant time slot.

What follows is the CBS schedule beginning September 20 through October 15, 2010 (all times eastern):

      ‘OLTL’ September Casting Notes

Monday, September 6, 2010 at 3:00 AM ET by Scotty Gore

      Photo: Virginia Sherwood/ABC

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Updated September comings and goings for “One Life to Live.”

Missing some of your favorite recurring characters? Well you’re in luck. Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Roxy (Ilene Kristen) will make an appearance this week, when the lovable lush dishes out some advice to a certain Llanview resident. Kristen recently commented that she hadn’t taped any scenes in several months and speculated that the show no longer had a use for her character. Roxy was last seen in early June when she helped Nora prepare for her wedding to Bo.

On a related note, look for Renee (Patricia Elliott) to turn up again on Wednesday, September 15th, when John and Natalie talk her into letting them search Eli’s old room at the Palace for clues.

Jason Tam returns as Markko Rivera beginning Friday, September 24th, when Langston bumps into him at the coffee shop.

Edward Watts first airs as Matthew and Nate’s high school basketball coach on Thursday, September 9th, when the two teen square off on the hardwood.

Fans haven’t seen the last of Dr. Vivian Wright (Kearran Giovanni).  In addition to being Jessica and Natalie’s OB/GYN, she also asks one couple a somewhat personal question on Monday, September 13th.

      David A. Gregory (Ford) has listed his September airdates as the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 20th, 21st, 23rd, 24th, 27th, and 30th.

Max Tapper (Det. Theo Price) states that he taped more scenes on August 26th.

Some more minor roles are coming up. On Thursday, September 16th, John instructs a dayplayer cop to trail Ross. And look for judges to show up when Todd contests the contents of Téa’s will beginning Monday, September 20th, and when Hannah faces obstruction of justice charges starting Wednesday, September 22nd.

Click here to see some pictures of Kim Zimmer‘s first day on the set (July 19th). Also in the pics. are Erika Slezak (Viki), Brian Kerwin (Charlie), Jerry verDorn (Clint), and Melissa Archer (Natalie). Zimmer returns as Echo DiSavoy beginning Friday, October 1st, when Charlie receives a surprise visit from someone from his past.

Want to see Jessica and Natalie’s “baby bumps?” Click here.

Kim Sullivan returned as Judge Runyon on Monday, August 23rd.

Paolo Montalban played a Tahiti cop on Monday, August 30th.

Rumors are swirling that Lea DeLaria will be returning to “OLTL” for a few episodes this fall as Madame Delphina, and that she would tape her scenes in September or October. However, this has yet to be confirmed.

Kassie DePaiva (Blair) tweeted on August 18th that she “Worked all day with Trevor [St. John - Todd], Billy [Warlock - Ross], Matt [Walton - Eli], & Micheal [Easton - John]. Home relaxing with glass of wine. Jimmy took JQ to Jonas Brother’s Camp Rock 2 Premiere.”

Melissa Archer (Natalie) tweeted that she worked with Kristen Alderson (Starr) and Brandon Buddy (Cole) on August 24th.

The song at the end of the August 26th episode of “OLTL” was Ashtar Command‘s “Holding Out For Love.” For more information about songs heard in recently on the show, click here.

“One Life” has released a new casting call, this time for the role of “Agent Gillespie.” The scene opens with “Chris Fisher” telling FBI agents that the boys will be coming home soon, once they (the feds) learn how to trace a call. “Gillespie” tells him that GPS device in the boys’ cell phones have been disabled. Chris wondered how they accomplished that, to which Gillespie replies that they must have had some prior experience with that sort of thing. He goes on to say that they have their equipment set up to try and trace and record any calls the boys may make. Chris, getting upset, asks what happens if they don’t call. As the scene ends, Gillespie says that he isn’t sure why they haven’t called yet. However, when he does Chris needs to keep them on the line. That way the call can be recorded and checked for background noises, which could yield clues to their whereabouts.

Here is more information about the casting call released last month for “Nurse Cogswell.” The scene opens with the nurse telling “Robin Monroe” that she doesn’t know where her husband went. When Robin asks about her daughter, she responds that she didn’t see her. Worried, Robin comments that they both said that they would be there when she woke up. Nurse Cogswell tells her not to worry, and that she is certain they’ll be right back since they know she is waiting on them. Getting hostile, Robin tells her that she wants to call her husband, and orders the nurse to bring her a pone when she learns there is not already one in the room. The nurse responds that, per Dr. Jeffreys’ orders, she is not to be disturbed. Robin says that it is too late for that, however the nurse remains adamant that she cannot disobey the doctor’s orders. Fuming, Robin tells her she wants to speak with the doctor herself. However, she tells Robin that unfortunately he had to leave as well. Robin asks why everyone seems to be gone. The nurse tells her she will try to reach the doctor and ask him when he will be returning, and that he may know when her husband will be coming back as well, but that for now she needs her rest.

She leaves the room and encounters Dr. Jeffreys in the hallway. She relays Robin’s request to the doctor, who says that he doesn’t know where her husband is, and tells her to not give her a phone under any circumstances. Even so, Nurse Cogswell reminds him that Robin is getting stronger and even more determined to see her family. Dr. Jeffreys insists that she is not to contact them yet. The nurse replies that she does not understand what is going on, however the doctor reminds her that her job is simply to carry out his orders. Furthermore he instructs her that there is a very good reason why “Mrs. Monroe” is not ready for visitors yet. The nurse points out how frustrated she is becoming. The doctor tells her to give Robin a sedative and keep her calm, to which the nurse says she will do her best. As the scene ends, Doctor Jeffreys says that, as soon as he is done with her, Robin can see anyone she wants to.

And there are rumors that “OLTL” is casting “Eddie,” who is described as in his “40′s, early 50′s, underneath his hot, handsome, sexy, charming exterior lies an extremely violent and abusive nature. Heavily recurring role starts in October.”

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — On the Tuesday, September 28 episode of pop phenomenon "Glee," singer and actress Britney Spears finds herself the subject of music and mayhem as the cast of the primetime drama series sings all about "Britney Britney." In the episode, look for a number of song and dance numbers spanning Spears' long career in the music industry, including numbers off of her CD's "Baby One More Time…," "Oops! I Did It Again," "Britney," "In the Zone," "Blackout" and "Circus."

In the episode, Glee's cast of characters try to persuade their New Direction's teacher Mr Schuester (Matthew Morrison) to let them pay homage to Britney Spears just as they did to Lady Gaga in season one. Unfortunately, Mr. Schue ignores their wishes and leaves them in dream land when they each pay a visit to the dentist. The visit to the dentist is said to "bring out the musical numbers and the all-but-official Britney cameo," according to Zap2it.com.

In the image represented above, actress Heather Morris, who portrays Brittany (how fitting) in the series, will be performing two songs including "Me Against the Music" off of Britney Spears' fourth album "In the Zone," which was released in 2003. The song was made into a duet between Spears and her idol Madonna. It is unclear at this time whether or not the show will turn the song into a duet as well, but from the image we can confirm that Spears will in fact be making an appearance in the episode.

Look for John Stamos to debut as the dentist, Carl Howell, who is a potential new love interest for Emma (Jayma Mays).

Nikki, not wanting Victor and Victoria's relationship to continue to crumble, she does her best to smooth things out. Unfortunately, Victor isn't interested in working things out, but does agree that he and Victoria need time to talk. When Victor learns that Billy and Victoria are engaged and plan to get married, he blows his top and blasts Billy by telling him that he's only interested in marrying his daughter in an attempt to get back at him. While Billy is greatly offended by Victor's accusation, it's Victoria that maintains her composure, despite her father's rudeness. Still peeved by Victor's comment, Billy rubs salt in the wounds by asking Victoria to marry him tomorrow. Once Victoria agrees to get married, Victor is further angry and storms out. Meanwhile, alone, Victoria and Billy start making plans to get married, but soon realize that there is a five day waiting period to get a marriage license. Determined to be married at all costs, they decide to wed in Vegas. Victor tells Jack that he will do whatever it takes to stop the wedding. Back at their home, the lovebirds make preparation for a wedding in their front yard. Nikki offers her help with the wedding, and ponts out to Victor she's going to stand by their daughter. After learning this, Victor is more than ready to scheme to ruin the wedding. In the meantime, Victoria asks Daniel if he'd be williing to photograph their wedding and talks to Jana about becoming her bridesmaid. Billy, on the other hand, asks Rafe Torres to be best man. As the wedding gets underway, it is obvious that Victor's absense is making it loud and clear for Victoria that he doesn't approve. Realizing that she doesn't have her father walking her down the aisle, Nicholas offers to do it. An assemble of interesting guests are there to witness the wedding; amongst being Jack, Gloria, Katherine and Abby. As Billy and Victoria are ready to get married, Victor makes his dramatic interruption of the nuptials, infuriating Nikki, and stunning all in attendance.

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — While actor Paul Leyden has been off of CBS' "As The World Turns" for sometime, his debut on CBS' "The Young and the Restless" in the coming weeks is sure leading some to believe there is an invasion in place of the now canceled soaps past and present stars.

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Leyden has been cast in the role of Blake on daytime's number one drama series. He begins filming on Tuesday, September 7 with his first airdate set for Wednesday, October 6. In it a bit of irony, former "World Turns" co-star Maura West began taping on Wednesday, September 1 with her first air date set for Friday, October 8 as a recast Diane Jenkins, which is two days after Leyden debuts, but one week after West began taping. Got to give it to tricky editing if air dates remain in tact.

Leyden began airing in the role of Simon Frasier on "As The World Turns" in February 2000 and appeared off-and-on until June 2004. He returned to the soap for a seven month turn in June 2006 and again in November 2009. He starred along-side television icon Heather Locklear ("Dynasty," "Melrose Place" and "Melrose Place 2.0") in the failed 2004 NBC drama series "LAX," which also starred actor Blair Underwood ("The Event" and "Dirty Sexy Money"). Leyden wrote, produced and directed the 2009 short film "Bye Bye Sally," which also starred another "World Turns" alum Paolo Seganti.

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — He's best known for portraying the role of Peter Brady in the 1970's sitcom "The Brady Bunch," but on Wednesday, September 15, Christopher Knight will bring some medical experience to CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful."

Knight will portray Dr. Andrews, who is will oversee the health and welfare of Bridget (Ashley Jones) and Owen's (Brandon Beemer) new baby boy, who was born on the Friday, September 3 episode. "I've never played a doctor before," said Knight in an interview with Soap Opera Digest. "It should be fun and will be very interesting if I have to learn some of those medical phrases [laughs]. But I'm looking forward to it."

In addition to his role on "The Brady Bunch," Knight has appeared in such shows as "That '70s Show" and "Less Than Perfect." For three seasons he starred in his own reality series on VH1, titled "My Fair Brady." In the series, Knight was looking for love and found it in the form of Adrianne Curry ("America's Next Top Model"). The two were married in May 2006 in Joliet, Illinois.

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — In June, Drew Tyler Bell won an Emmy Award for his portrayal as Thomas Forrester on CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful," but in August, he was fired and replaced by daytime newcomer Adam Gregory. The news was first reported by TV Guide Magazine's Michael Logan on August 17, and now Soap Opera Network has your first look at Gregory on set!

Gregory, who has appeared in a number of television series including The CW's "90210" and Disney Channel's "Wizards of Waverly Place," along with appearances in such films as "Hannah Montana: The Movie" and "17 Again," began filming on Tuesday, August 24. His first tape date also happened to be the day cast and crew were introduced to new Supervising Producer Ed Scott.

Look for Thomas in the form of Adam Gregory beginning Wednesday, September 22, when the actor shares his first scenes with on-screen daddy Ronn Moss (Ridge Forrester) and sexual chemistry with Kimberly Matula (Hope Logan). According to TV Guide, Thomas "is furious with his folks — but particularly his mother, Taylor [Hunter Tylo] — for giving his sister, Steffy [Jacqueline MacInnes Wood], all those shares of Forrester Creations and not giving him anything. This will cause the young man to become quite a force of his own and we'll see Thomas take sides with Brooke Logan [Katherine Kelly Lang] in the ongoing battle between the Logans and Forresters.."

Drew Tyler Bell last aired in the role on Friday, August 27.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" airs Weekdays on CBS. Anytime on CBS.com.
