(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — The 2007 coming-of-age romantic film, co-starring “One Life to Live’s” David Fumero (Cristian Vega), finds its way to DVD.

Following showing of the movie at various film festivals, along with a limited theatrical release in the United States, “Greetings from the Shore” was then successfully released in more than seventy different countries. Now it is available for purchase in the U.S. through the film’s official website.

To celebrate the release, several free outdoor screenings of the movie are scheduled, with the next being Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey on Thursday, August 12th. A complete schedule is available on the website. The film’s director, along with members of the cast, will be in attendance at each of the screenings to sign autographs and chat with fans.

“Greetings from the Shore” is the tale of a young woman who decides to spend one last summer at the New Jersey shore before heading off to college, all the while still mourning the recent death of her father. However, her plans quickly fall apart when she unwittingly becomes involved with Russian sailors and high-stakes gambling, while managing to find love along the way.

In addition to Fumero (who plays Benicio Aceveda), the film also stars Kim Shaw, Paul Sorvino, Jay O. Sanders, Andrew Shaifer, Lars Arentz-Hansen, Gideon Emery, Ron Geren, and Cristin Milioti. It was directed by Greg Chwerchak.
