(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Although it is the youngest of the soaps currently on the air, according to Guinness World Records “The Bold and the Beautiful” has already become the most popular with an international daily audience of nearly 35 million people.

Last month, a representative from Guinnesss presented “B&B” Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley Bell with the certificatie at the show’s Stage 31 studios at CBS’ Television City.  Broadcast in more than 110 countries and territories, 66 of which have “scientific people-meter systems in place to measure television viewing audiences,” “The Bold and the Beautiful” has become one of the most successful American daytime drama series around the world.

In addition, the show was also recently nominated for its fifth consecutive ‘Golden Nymph’ for the Monte Carlo TV Festival’s TV Audience Award.  The nomination was announced on May 4th, with the ceremony set for June 10th in Monaco.

Created by William J. and Lee Philip Bell, “The Bold and the Beautiful” premiered on March 23, 1987.
