(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — ABC takes one of their most well-known daytime heroines and plants her on one of their primetime dramas.

In an announcement made this morning on their website, the network said that Lucci would soon be appearing on “Lost” as her Erica Kane persona in a special crossover event, which would leave her stranded on the same island as the passangers of Oceanic Flight 815.  Further details concerning the crossover are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Lucci is the last remaining original castmember on “All My Children,” and has been with the show since its 1970 debut.

Lastly, both ABC and Soap Opera Network wish you a happy April Fool’s Day. Have a great afternoon!

“All My Children” airs Weekdays on ABC. Weeknights on SOAPnet. Anytime on ABC.com and SOAPnet.com. Check local listings.
