(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — “One Life to Live” releases a new audition script for teenage versions of two of the soap’s most popular characters, Jessica Buchanan and Cristian Vega.

In an update to a story we first brought you yesterday, SON can now give you more insight into the contents of the script, which was released last Friday.

The scene begins with teen Jessica telling teen Cristian that he doesn’t look or act like the group of jocks he has been hanging around with. Cris responds that the only thing that he really has in common with them is that he is good at soccer. Jessica tells him that she hasn’t seen much of him lately, and asks Cris if he has been avoiding her. He states that he has been dodging her, but it’s not because he doesn’t like her. Instead he tells her that he wants to see her more often, but thinks that they have about as much in common as he and his teammates do. Jessica asks Cristian if he thinks it’s because he’s from Angel Square, to which he responds yes, and because she lives in a house that has a name. He goes on to say that her mother is the richest woman in Llanview, while his mom is only a rich woman’s maid, not to mention the fact that his brother is currently in jail. Jessica fires back that, just because her family is wealthy, it does not mean that they do not have their share of problems. Being sarcastic, Cristian is like what, did the chauffeur took the day off? Jessica replies that her parents are divorced and that her mother is very ill. Cris apologizes and offers his condolences. As the scene ends, Jessica confesses that they have more in common than he wants to admit. Cris says he it’s time to go to work.

The scene appears to be in a flashback had by Jessica and/or Cristian, and should air sometime this spring. SON will keep you posted.
