Lisa LoCicero (SoapOperaNetwork.com) – Just three months after bumping Megan Ward (Kate Howard) to recurring status, ABC’s “General Hospital” has upgraded Ward’s onscreen sister cousin, Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri), to contract status.

Since joining the cast of “General Hospital” in 2008, LoCicero’s Olivia has enjoyed a taudry affair with Johnny Zacchara (Brandon Barash) and a flirtation with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Recently, it was revealed that Olivia’s son with Sonny, Dante, has come to Port Charles in the form of hired hitman Dominic (Dominic Zamprogna).

LoCicero got her start in the 1994 short-film “Murder Too Sweet.” She would later join the cast of ABC Daytime’s “Loving” as Jocelyn Roberts Brown, a character which she took to “Loving” spin-off “The City” in 1995. Upon that soaps cancellation in 1997, the actress began appearing in a number of high profile primetime dramas including NBC’s “Law & Order” and ABC’s “NYPD Blue.” From 2004 to 2007, she appeared as Maria Storm in the Comedy Central series “Reno 911.”

Fans of Megan Ward don’t fret, you can next see the actress on the soap on Wednesday, July 15, when Kate gives Maxie some financial assurance.

“General Hospital” airs Weekdays on ABC. Weeknights on SOAPnet. Check local listings.

Christian Alexander (SoapOperaNetwork.com) — If you thought you saw the last of Christian Alexander and his character Keifer Tate on ABC’s “General Hospital,” think again!

Soap Opera Network has learned that Alexander has been bumped to recurring status and will return for a series of episodes in July beginning with the Tuesday, July 14 episode of the soap. In the episode, Michael (Drew Garrett) senses something is off with Keifer and tries to protect his sister, Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth), from harms way. Will he be too late? Tune in to find out!

Christian Alexander has been making a name for himself since marking his television debut on the Nickelodean series “Zoey 101″ in 2006. Since then he has appeared in such programs as NBC’s “Medium” (2007), ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” (2008), ABC Family’s “Lincoln Height’s”(2008) and Disney Channel’s “The Suite Life on Deck” (2008). Come fall, look for Alexander to appear in the new ABC Primetime series “Eastwick,” which stars former “General Hospital” starlet Jaime Ray Newman (ex-Kristina Cassadine). He will portray a character by the name of Gus.

Recently, Alexander starred in the film “Half Truth” along-side “GH’s” Carolyn Hennesy (Diane Miller). The film is a quirky coming-of-age indie film set in the rural south and centered around an insecure, teenaged outcast, Donell (James Earl), an enigmatic wonder-boy, Johnny (Alexander), and the intimate relationship they forge while on a madcap escape from their oppressive lives. The film was written and directed by Wade Gasque.

Katherine filled with shock and disbelief falls to the ground and is quickly rushed to the hospital. Olivia, who’s on call instantly takes charge and learns that Katherine has had a stroke. He goes on to tell all how he came upon Cane in Australia and made arrangements for him to pretend to be him. Billy, who has happened upon the revelation with Chloe, decks Cane. Cane soon admits to Billy and Chloe that he knew that Billy was always the father of Cordelia; stating that at the time of the paternity test, he used Phillip’s blood when making the determination of who the baby’s father was. Lily, along with Neil, is furious that Cane has been lying to her for years. Cane tries in vain to get Lily to understand that in all the times that he has been with her, he not once lied about his feelings for her. Unwilling to listen to anything he has to say, Lily snatches off her wedding ring and gives it to him, while Neil warns him to stay away from his daughter; or else. Once alone with Phillip, a furious Cane demands to know why Phillip suddenly decided to come back to Genoa City after all.
