Tad breaks the combination to Adam's safe and discovers a file with information about Krystal. Realizing the file contains the damaging information Adam is holding over Krystal, Tad gives in to her pleas and hands it over to her without looking at its contents. Sunday, May 3, 2009 1:21 AM ET | Scotty Gore (SoapOperaNetwork.com) -- With a recent spike in the teen birth rate across the United States, The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy is sponsoring a forum in the nation's capitol to discuss ways to reverse the trend.  Among those featured to speak at the forum are Seventeen Magazine Editor-in-Chief Ann Shoket, talk show host Maury Povich, and "One Life to Live's" Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning). Llanview teen Starr Manning is no different than a lot of other teenage girls across the United States. Since 1990, the Gabriel Project has helped provide life-saving heart surgery to children around the world who are in need.  The non-project organization was founded by Mark J. Melamed, a six-grade teacher who persuaded his students to become involved after the class researched the number of children who die everyday in developing countries, and identified the east African nation of Tanzania as one of the five poorest countries; so poor in fact, that no one living there has access to heart surgery.  As a result, the students chose to sponsor a child from Tanzania, eight-year-old Gabriel Inyunye, from which the group takes its name. Unfortunately, the child died of intractable heart failure before necessary funds could be secured to fly him to...
Saturday, May 2, 2009 11:03 PM ET | Scotty Gore SoapOperaNetwork.com) -- Although he now calls Llanview home, Jerry verDorn hopes "One Life to Live" will allow him to reprise his former "Guiding Light" role one last time before the soap ends its 72-year run on September 18th. From 1979 until 2005, verDorn portrayed the popular attorney Ross Marler on "Guiding Light," before the soap dropped him to recurring status following a series of budget cuts.  Less than two weeks after he last aired on "GL," verDorn made his "OLTL" debut as Clint Buchanan (a role originated by the late Clint Ritchie) on October 25, 2005 and never looked back.  But with "Guiding Light" set to air its final episode this fall after being canceled last month by CBS, verDorn appears to be getting a little homesick for his old stomping ground.  According to TVGuide Canada, the actor is said to be confessing to friends and...
