Damian lends a word of advice to Meg about maintaining the fight for Eliza. Meg lets Damian know that Paul was the cause for her losing custody of her daughter. Back in Old Town, Paul sees Sally, the babysitter he paid off to lie on Meg, and he is furious that she’s back in town. Unaware that Damian is listening to their conversation, Paul tells Sally to come with him to Fairwinds and Damian is right there to see everything. Damian contacts Meg and tells her that Paul is going to be paying Sally more money and the meeting will take place at Al’s Diner. Meg contacts Dusty and they confront Sally and have her hauled off to the police station to fess up. Meg is happy that Dusty was there to help out and the two go to get her daughter but when they arrive at Fairwinds it is clear that Paul has taken off with the baby. Dusty takes off to check a few of the banks and Damian tells Meg to call her lawyer and then see if he took a flight out of Oakdale. Meanwhile back at Fairwinds, Bonnie tells Meg that Paul has a right to take Eliza out of the house but will get a court injunction to go after Paul. Paul, in the meantime, is at an airfield to charter a plane.
