(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — What started out as a short-term gig has apparently turned into a full-time job.

Florencia Lozano may have returned to “One Life to Live” with only a thirteen-week contract in mind, but it now appears that she is putting down roots at her old stomping ground. “Internet rumors claim that Florencia Lozano (Téa Delgado) is wrapping up her stint on the show in April but she is actually here to stay. There’s still plenty of story for Téa,” a “One Life” spokesperson tells ABC Soaps in Depth.

Lozano brought the tough as nails attorney Téa Delgado back to Llanview last December to help her former client and lover Todd Manning win his latest legal battle with a back-from-the-dead Marty Saybrooke, and to secretly help Ray Montez prove his innocence regarding the death of his first wife. She originated the role of Téa in 1997 and left three years later, only to briefly return in 2002.

In addition to her stints in Llanview, Lozano has also ventured into prime time, appearing in “Ugly Betty,” “Lipstick Jungle,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” and “Gossip Girl.” Film roles include “Bittersweet Place,” “Perfect Stranger,” “The Ministers,” and “Veronika Decides to Die.” Lozano has also appeared in several off Broadway productions and is an accomplished dancer.

“One Life to Live” airs Weekdays on ABC. Weeknights on SOAPnet. Check local listings.
