(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — “One Life to Live,” a soap built upon diversity, prepares to welcome a new minority family to Llanview.

A new Latino family is making their way to Llanview this fall, according to ABC Soaps in Depth. While no last name has been announced, casting calls describe the family as being wealthy, affluent, and powerful.

The roles include Hector, a powerful CEO and businessman from Columbia, his sexy thirty something wife Maria, and their daughter Elena, who becomes the new kid at Llanview High. It is speculated that the new family may have ties to Langston Wilde, whose deceased parents were also natives of Columbia.

All three contract roles, while yet to be cast, are expected to begin taping in August, and will first air sometime in September or October.
