Due to age limitations, “All My Children” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” were unable to provide an actor to pre-nominate for the “Outstanding Younger Actor” category. Last year, “AMC” pre-nominated Brent Weber (ex-Sean Montgomery) and Michael B. Jordan (ex-Reggie Montgomery). “B&B” currently does not have an actor eligible in this categeory. With a tie in place, “Days of our Lives” was able to pre-nominate four actors in the “Outstanding Lead Actor” category. “Passions” did not pre-nominate anyone in the “Outstanding Lead Actor” category. With a tie in place, “The Young and the Restless” was able to pre-nominate four actresses in the “Outstanding Younger Actress” category.

Only those actors and/or actresses who are 25 and under are eligible for the “Younger” acting categories. An actor turning 26 in 2007 was eligible for a pre-nomination until their birth date (example: John Driscoll was eligible for the category until he turned 26 on June 27, 2007).

“The 35th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards” will air Live Friday, June 20, 2008 on the ABC Television Network from the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Timeslot is to be determined.
